Just read it was announced on Facebook before in the ground, is that true? That is scandalous if it is, purposely taking people’s money at the kiosks knowing it wasn’t going ahead
They tried to announce it in the stadium before the facebook announcement but Steve Jordan was in the toilet having a dump so it's his fault of anything.

So, the under soil heating doesn't cover all what it should?
The technical areas were extended relatively recently weren't they? I I wonder if that might've created some sort of heating blackspot that wasn't an issue previously.

Whatever the issue is it was certainly unique to today and really seems like mistakes were made because the stadium has never been deemed unplayable before and we've had much worse conditions than that. I know a couple of games have been called off before but never for the conditions inside the stadium itself.

By the way, the ref has a job to do and rules to follow and there's no suggestion he did anything other than follow those rules. And the players will have wanted to play and would have no bearing on the decision. People criticising either of those parties are being a bit daft.

Agreed, although the ref should have called it off sooner, it was clear the issue wasn’t going to go away, no need to waste everyone’s time.

The pitch looked ragged as **** after the players had warmed up on it. I think the ground staff are just a bit **** tbh.
