It's high time officials in sport stuck their necks above the parapet now and again.

If there's a reasonable belief or doubt that a fixture/event(not restricted solely to football as the racing game is becoming a farce for late inspections,some as close as an hour prior to the first race)might be in doubt then make the call as early as possible!! Some fans travel from far away places involving long hours on public transport,that's not fair on them or their finances!!

An update on the pitch​

I think we're largely OK now. Work seems to have stopped, both teams are out warming up as normal. There's still a very frosty patch in the technical area but nobody seems too concerned about that.

I haven't been fed anything, I'm just not from a generation that tries to shirk responsibility for looking after others.
