I have high hopes for North Ferriby to gain a promotion a season to make it to the same league as us so they can be our rivals <laugh>
 
We do have Scunthorpe, Grimsby, North Ferriby, Winterton, Lincoln and York bearing in mind none of them are close to our league.
Sheffield Wednesday aren't too fond of us i do believe...... along with Arsene Wenger (Just him, not the team)

Guess we'll be laying of the ''Nobody likes us'' chants for another decade.
 
There's some proper bollocks on his thread. Being brought up in a one-club City I've never understood the whole 'hating teams just because' thing. I mean, I can't stand Leeds for numerous reasons, I think Leicester fans are a proper set of nobheads, Milwall fans are almost as bad and until this time last year I'd never left a match at Bramall Lane without hating Sheff United with a passion. However, I couldn't really 'hate' a team without a good football-based reasoning behind it.

Also, I've never understood the idea that you want other teams to hate you. Whenever there is a Leeds/Hull thread it always ends up with a Leeds fan telling us they don't hate us. Why would we want to be hated? :S Milwall fans are seriously ****ed up with this, they actually like that everyone hates them.

Like Golaccio saoid, Hull Whites are the biggest enemy.

why so much hate on these boards?
i loved going to scunny and grimsby as a kid.
as for boro,ive got mates from there that are sound geezers.
leave hatred to the braindead,theres no place for it on these boards.
 
Can't hate boro though as my Dads family came from there, so never got that feeling as they were also mostly remote as football rivals for most of time as well.

The only teams I really dislike are Sheffield United and Sunderland and I don't actually know why, it's just a feeling, plus I had a Wednesday friend who always spat when he mentioned the pigs and Sunderland nicked two good players from us. But I disliked 'em before those times as well. Strange.
 
Been in to many fights when I was a lad with middlesborough fans not to hate em ... Same with Sunderland. Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield united ...can't stand Leeds because as a nipper nearly everyone in my class ' supported' Leeds and there was only me and another lad who followed Hull City ( @ school in HULL ! )
