**** Middlesbrough

I was talking to some mates of mine the other day about the rivalry between the two Sheffield teams, and how some of them take it to ridiculous extremes such as Wednesday fans not eating bacon because it's red and white, and it made me think "I kinda wish we had a rivalry like that". We've got Leeds, but if we're honest they don't really care about us outside of this board, Scunthorpe are too small to hate and Grimsby are now in the conference. The conclusion? **** Middlesbrough, similar sized club, don't have real rivals of their own and like us the rest of Yorkshire won't truly accept them.

We can call it the "Sort of in Yorkshire but nobody really notices derby", or if you're boring the "Humber-Tees derby".

Discuss. It's brilliant, I know.

I agree with youmate, it is a shame we dont have the rivalry, just look at Hull FC and Hull KR!
I think Leeds do care a bit but dont hate us as much as we hate them! When they played Man U its was classed more of a rivalry by the media then when we played them.

I think we do have a bit of rivarly with Middlesbrough though, look what happend in the pre season game we had against them a few years back!

maybe we should all get on their board and start winding them up??
