Re the second goal my initial thought in the ground was that Gav absolutely should have come for it but it was one of multiple mistakes. I'll watch the highlights in the morning to see if that's fair or not.

Thought overall he looked pretty shaky though. He just has no presence whatsoever and got very lucky with the shot he spilled.

To be fair if I was an opposition coach I'd say whip in near the edge of the six-yard box as much as you can. Not just Bazuna, but anyone in and around the area looks utterly lost and bit panic-striken. Some of the ways we dealt with these looked like the football I played in.

There’s not that much point talking about good teams and bad teams in this division. There’s basically f*ck all difference between the lot of them. 90% of the division play the same style of bloody football. If we can’t learn to deal with it then we don’t deserve to finish in the top 6.

Injuries and suspensions are irrelevant too. If Sargent is out, then some other lump of a donkey comes in. Whoever it is, Wood will fail to deal with them. I swear, you watch every goal we concede from a cross, and Wood is half a yard behind the goal scorer.

Exactly how I see it too. There’s nothing between Millwall, Norwich, Bristol City & Hull games really. We definitely need to be lots better at dealing with the classic physicality of the Championship better if gonna push for promotion. This was the sort of game today where a big lump of a CF off the bench ourselves to give their CBs something more physical to think about it needed massively. Have to get a striker in Jan

Just read the Norwich match thread on their board, apparently the ref gave them nothing and we threw ourselves to the floor at every opportunity…..

Other than not giving us a penalty early on when Arma was fouled, and allowing the handball goal, I don't think the ref did much wrong at all - Leo can be a bit dramatic, but all the fouls were fouls (and the badly named Darling should have been booked earlier).

He was really poor in general, don't think he favoured any one team particularly.

Norwich fans I spoke to on the train afterwards thought the same.

That's just silly, if he had only ever scored 4 that would mean he's missed 16!

Pretty sure he's converted more than 4.
I saw a stat, Saints had missed 4 of the last 5, now it would appear that is pinned on Armstrong. I think this is unlikley as he was at West Brom 2nd half of last season. We must of had another player (s) miss one or two

Yeah I'm also struggling to recall what other two penalties we've had this season. I can only think of Armstrong's three vs Sheff Utd, Millwall and Norwich.

Watching some of the game back i can't help but laugh at Fraser marking their big centre forward at corners - that bloke was a clear foot taller than him.

Now to regroup and get ready for Coventry.

That’s because when they fouled Leo there was always a player shoving him and telling him he dived. Darling kicked him in the stomach when he was down as well

We’ll I didn’t think we had that bad a performance in us anymore

We clearly not only missed Tom but suffered for having Fraser on that wing constantly putting us under pressure by passing back to THB

I could never see Azaz on the screen when our CBs had the ball, our only outlet seemed to be Frazer and Flynn who then passed the ball back again. I thought Flynn looked tired again

We completely forgot how to play the ball through the lines

We didn’t wok as hard as Norwich

We ended up playing pointless high balls to Adam who was alone, then the same when Cam joined him

From countless contenders for MOTM recently I’m not sure there was anyone, although Wellington actually improved us a little

Manning MOTM for the goal I guess

Let’s hope Tonda can sort this out, but my worry is that we still don’t seem to have players on the pitch who know how to solve problems in a game. If it’s clearly not working then do something different!

It’s not the loss that’s depressed me, it’s the performance

Pretty sure this empty block is where I originally bought but was told by the club I couldn't have...
