There are a lot of missing and much needed services like free to access youth services, massive waiting lists for mental health services and support and it comes from them having no support. This will get worse and it’s needed because of the costs of living. The beneficiaries of reform are those who need nowt so the cost of living for families int improve, work will be less stable not more under reform, health will start to cost us but only the rich and corporations will get richer. The way to reduce a need for services is improve economic and social conditions not remove services.
Worrying for me that people think of only one policy. I think managing safety is a really valid ask for an immigration policy and needs sorting and the numbers are too big, but it won’t help with the cost of living and the safety cushion people need. Labour are going in on preventative services to save money further ahead in the system. It’s the right approach but needs more investment to work. Removing services entirely has been proven to be a disaster for the last conservative government. That’s what’s made communities feel less safe and neglected.
I agree with most of what you say and it is a good post. As a general point I don’t use the c word a lot but I think of another word that sums him up. I could have added grifting liar.
I’ve just read that and it all sounds positive to me, we will find out nearer the election and I will probably change my mind then
The teachings of chairman Mao Tse Slut spent an evening trying to trip me up because he wont answer question about Rayners thefts, yet cant read English and only sees what he wants The answer was Antifa fascists
said without a shed of evidence anything to avoid questions on a sinking ship that's 2 defections I've read about so far to Reform so Starmer must have loads of racists in his cabinet
Maybe. But pouring endless money into anything rarely makes it better. Nowhere has it been proved that economic conditions generally are improved by pouring state money into things, beyond a certain point, which it could be argued we are past. Money has to be made. Three quarters of private businesses in the UK are small or medium sized and many do not make much margin at all, and much less since Reeves' budget. Frankly, there is not one single politician around now who I would p*** on if they were on fire. The quality of people involved and aiming to be is so poor. Poland, and other Eastern European states will soon overtake us economically. They have smaller state apparatus and lower taxes. Italy too now, after decades of sclerosis is now a better bet for cash than here. We are governed very badly, by amateur opticians and entrenched, unelected public bodies.
Labour running very close to bankrupting the country, i hope the civil servants can trim their over excessive spending of other people's money mainly ours
Which he's changed within 24 hours after backing down on his pledge to stop small boats within 2 weeks of government
