The Epping hotel migrant has been found guilty, I think it was on five seperate charges. He's been told he can expect a custodial sentence and will be placed on the sex offenders registered. It said on the news the 14 year old girl immediately went and told a police officer that was on the street, good job he was there then to help her, especially as you rarely see a bobby on the beat these days.
A Nuneaton businessman at the centre of a viral Sky News 'abuse' footage has issued a statement about the 'love and support' he has received since the incident. Zahin was being interviewed by the TV correspondent Shamaan Freeman-Powell in Queens Road when he became the subject of abuse. A pleasing story for a change... The footage has gone viral across the country and the Dessertz 2 Go businessman has said that it has led to an outpouring of love and support. He took to the Edward Street-based takeaway's page on Facebook to say he has been 'overwhelmed' by the response. The 32-year-old also poignantly stated his pride in 'Britain' - which he described as 'my country, this is my home'- and the impact it has had on his life. "I've been overwhelmed with love and support from everyone across the UK," the Facebook post reads. "This is my country, this is my home, I went to school, secondary school, college and university here. "My best teachers were British and I will always remember them, my mates and the people I grew up with were British too, and till this day 99 per cent of my customers are British. "I'm forever grateful for all the opportunities this country has given me. Big up to all my new followers and everyone who has DM'd showing love." This Sunday (September 7) there will be meet and greet at the business at 104 Edward Street, from 3pm to 5pm. "There’ll be complimentary pizzas, cake and ice cream and an amazing chance to connect with the local community," the post reads. https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/local-news/nuneaton-businessman-viral-sky-news-32410011 As for the two women, well the cops had arrested and are dealing with them, so a good outcome.
Most of those coming across aren’t seeking asylum in the true definition. This is why they ditch their documents before arriving. They are economic migrants mate who have been convinced the UK is an easy touch.
I've no doubt that goes on, but I don't know how anybody determines whether that's the case for most of the people coming. Which I guess is what makes it so difficult to sort out the asylum claims.
Well, there's a surprise... Former Conservative minister Nadine Dorries has defected to Reform UK https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj9zld87y1go
People like Nadine Dorries have zero relevance in the political sphere, so they will attach themselves to anything that gives them some relevance. Reform offers Dorries a platform to spout nonsense and whip up fear and anger, so she'll jump at the opportunity Expect to see her fluttering her eyelashes at Farage in a presser soon...
She’s also going to be over 70 at the next election so what is the point? If they got Johnson on board it would be tasty.
Surely if you are a genuine asylum seeker, you don’t ditch your documents as these would expedite your asylum application? I appreciate that we should be considered a safe haven to those who are genuine, but those undocumented boat people aren’t asylum seekers IMHO.
Send them back. Send everyone back. Do a random draw and send 20% of pensioners somewhere. Stop the boats and stop the EasyJet return flights from Alicante.
Believe it is the Reform conference today. Been thinking he is what they think they need to win the Tory vote share. I would t be surprised if he is having his hair ruffled and readied to be paraded
Yeah I agree, I'm just not sure this is the case for 'most' as you first said. I genuinely don't know, but I would strongly suspect that it isn't the case
Did anybody seen Farage get roasted in Congress yesterday ? He went there to slag of the UK and got his arse handed to him by Jamie Raskin Would be reform voters should watch this.
