New line just dropped.

‘Still waiting for my DM’
And you in particular have got fck all. Get back to your class. I'm interested in what JTT is saying, that's stirred my interest ...but I'm very skeptical still as no one is offering anything of substance, just hearsay.

The issue for Acun is that he can’t keep on pouring money into the abyss on a monthly basis. He has reached the end of the road on that one and has gone past the value of the club v money owed threshold.

He should have probably sold up in the summer and minimised his losses. Instead he’s rolled the dice once again and while assembling a decent looking championship squad, under a decent manager, we’ll probably avoid relegation but be in no way more saleable.

We’re stuck in Acun’s game of Russian roulette, unfortunately the gun will go off at some point.

Its a small number of you and you haven't told anything in any detail or with any real substance beyond "I've heard it's bad", "someone hasn't been paid", "some ees are looking for new jobs" sort of stuff. As others have posted, the facts and evidence continue to tell a very different story to this hearsay. This hearsay just doesn't seem to stack up with what wev see happening. Sorry but I need facts not hearsay before I slate the owner and club. My DM is still waiting

what evidence are you expecting? They’re not going to send you invoices showing lack of payment.

You can check on LinkedIn. A few have left in recent days. Club has advertising way more jobs to replace as well.

You say facts and evidence point to the contrary? Do they? Just because we kept Hughes and Pandur to me doesn’t indicate it’s not bad. It could also lean into the gamblers fallacy that Acun is deep into.

We know we are £60m in debt as of the end of 2023. There’s absolutely zero chance we reduced that debt last season. Those facts are there that we owe Acun Medya money and I can guarantee that he won’t let the Media company die.

Trouble is, even the stuff that was corroborated in the press you still refer to as heresay.

Ultimately you're determined to bury your head in the sand, there's not a lot more we can do.

He's previously tried to buy his way out of this League, cost him a lot of money and so will any further failed attempts.(It's no easy task getting out of this level,we all know that).

I'm not sure we've got the required depth, skill or goals in our squad to gain promotion this year,if we somehow manage it,he'll sell up,get his money back, mop his brow and thank his lucky stars.

A few of us have said we see this season as the last throw of the dice,I'll certainly stand by that.
We've got nowhere near enough to get promoted his year and the owner will know that full well.

How could he sell up in the summer and minimise his losses? He's been forced into rolling the dice again because no-one was willing to spend £80-£90 million on a Club worth £40...

Late payments that were paid, and processes put in place to stop repeats you mean?
Again, why would so many businesses have renewed their partnerships and why are businesses continuing to do business with he club. These businesses aren't stupid. Doesn't stack up.

This has come as a huge shock....Not!!

(Went for a wee-wee,Glasgow)

He's doing what any of us would do if we'd invested in something that became a nightmare - he'll be doing everything he can to manage his exposure and get his money back.

I'm surprised this is a surprise

Genuinely, what is the "this" that people are talking about? All I can see is Jim saying that he's now heard the same as what others have previously said they've heard, but there's next to no specific detail on anything that's happened so I don't know what I'm meant to be surprised or shocked by.

Reminds me of last week when there was a meltdown about us selling Hughes and Pandur, someone even said they "can't believe the club is doing this" when the only real news was that we'd received a bid for Hughes and rejected it, and as it turned out it never went any further than that.

He would have minimised his losses if he sold us for £50million this summer rather than £50 million next summer after accumulating another £15-£20 million in losses.

No,these businesses aren't stupid...They'll pop him on stop-credit and ask for payment up front like many businesses do?

Off all 92 league clubs only a handful make a profit and some of those profits are tiny. Wether it's clubs at the top turning over hundreds of millions or those near the bottom running on a shoe string budget virtually all clubs rely on an owner making up the shortfall.

I'm not sure our losses should be as high as in previous seasons? We've sold some of our players and we've brought in replacements without spending money.

If the wage bill has been restricted to a reasonable amount and revenue remains reasonably strong, surely there's a reasonable chance we shouldn't sink further into debt?

And of those 92 only two currently have a fee restriction due to not paying football creditors on time.

Very late payments some of which haven't been paid, some payments to larger suppliers that have reluctantly been paid late. Late payment of wages, late payment to multiple clubs not just Barry. Acun seeking 'investment'(a buyer), Acun lying about the financial state of the club as found by a KC.

60m debt, 20m outstanding football creditors, Greaves and Philo sold cheap for cash up front...

...now club employees jumping off a sinking ship.

Yeah pal. All heresay made up by supporters with a vendetta. Righto.

Greaves sold cheap - Ipswich got totally rinsed- second biggest rinsing since Swansea got done by Ehab for Clucas

My 'this' was more of a tongue in cheek type' this'.A sort of "Oh so 'this' has finally come out"(when some of us knew all along that 'this' Turkish bloke was a shyster)...

Does 'this' make sense, or do you need to Google 'this' to find out what 'this' means?
