we played well mate, as i said we need to be creating more chances but the squad are certainly looking more 'together'...some lovely passages of play and some lovely balls out of defence (mainly alderete) and i cannot really say any player was not involved, still learning as they go along of course so i feel they can just get better.

thanks mate. Good to hear, encouraging stuff esp given how little time the boys have had together

Watched the whole game on DAZN España, best €14.99 per month I've spent.

Two equal sides who were tentative in attacking in case of a counter attack. We were not better than them all over the pitch, but we were more determined.

It was obvious in their play they had more premier league experience and we were naive in some situations, but we showed more grit, tenacity and willing to win.

Collins kept them in it with his important interceptions and interventions.

Again, Le Fe got the tactics spot on at home.
Don't think enzo had anything to do with tactics haha

Right lads, I had a slight health concern after the winner. I had a few messages but as I put my geggs on I couldn't read anything, it was all blurry. I told my son I think I'm having a stroke, I can't see. I told him I would check when we got back to the car. It was then that I put my glasses back on and realised the lenses had fell out

the stats will look as if we 'did nowt' and got a lucky win, but there were at least three very good blocks from their defence that stopped 'on target' shots...not getting carried away yet but some good signs so far, and every win/good performance will increase the confidence.

Excellent to a man

scoring twice against a strong defensive unit like Brentford is nothing to be shrugged off

RLB tactically outclassed Andrews today.

if I had to pick ELF MOTM

I also thought he was superb but will need to see their goal back sure he switched off for an easy inside pass before the ball came across for the header. Might be wrong like
