Seeing that Leeds team sheet has just hit home how much we’ve improved. We look light years ahead of them on paper. They don’t look like they’ve got a single player that would get into our starting XI

I thought that.

That gap meant absolutely **** all did it.

First 11 I’m not taking a single one.

Leeds winning this wouldn’t be a bad thing

We need a few sides in the relegation mix to have a better chance of survival IMO

They’ve tried to sign good players, they were in for Diarra before us. Massive credit to the club for the people they’ve appointed away from the playing side.

We have champions league level staff in place, now. They’re the real deal.

I do not.

Ok. Based on who we’ve signed, the club videos of the great bind and the buy in from the new lads, the overestimation by many of the league (not every team is stacked) and the general feel good factor, I reckon, in my current frame of mind, we finish above

Burnley
Leeds
Brentford
Wolves
West Ham
Everton
Fulham

That’s where I have us ‘right now’

It doesn’t change that 17th or higher is all that matters this season.

I fancy us to go well in a cup.

We're built for a cup run and RLB will pay more attention this time.

As soon as we appointed a French manager I knew he'd swerve the cups, too many games.

Now we have the opposite situation whereby we'll really need the cups to get the fringe players on the pitch.

You could see how quick RLB was to get Rigg involved on Saturday so he could call himself a PL player at that age ...

... great management I thought.

My missus just asked me to mute him. How can you talk in exactly the same pitch and tone for that long.

Like listening to a wasp.

<laugh>

I've thought it through and I don't care about how Leeds can help us avoid relegation ... balls to that, I want then to get battered.

Horrible supporters, horrible manager and horrible club ...

... and don't get me started on that dreadful song <doh>

Aye it’s ****e isn’t it. Not bad as a chant when they just do their bit but the whole thing is ****.

As is their team IMO. Wouldn’t swap a single first 11 player. Actually shocked when look at them side by side on paper now.

I do like Leeds though. I hope they stay up with us.

They just look like a typical Championship side ...

... tough, physical and energetic, I just don't see them playing a lot of football.

It’s a better PL with us and Leeds in it.

Absolutely mate.

I’d add Derby and Leicester, maybe Sheff Wed and Brum.

I can’t get in with Brighton, fans are just so placid. Like no passion at all.Amazing what they achieved a s a club after the years without a stadium.

Burnley are pointless, for Bournemouth see Brighton, and for Brentford see Brighton and Bournemouth <laugh>
