Stach and Tanaka very good players. Gnoto good. Stach and Tanaka not close to Xhaka and Diarra though, no way.
They've got 3 right footed CBs playing and then a right footed CM playing LB. The 2 fullbacks aren't playing natural positions so when receiving passes they don't angle their bodies quite like natural fullbacks. They also want to come inside more as that's where they are comfortable. When under pressure fullbacks can be such a good out ball as wingers are often quite lazy out of possession and can switch off. By not having a left footed they are closing off parts of the pitch so it makes Leeds press a lot easier - by having a balanced back 4 (like we had when Alderete came on) it helps you play out a bit easier Hopwfully explained that well enough
Leeds are the Duracell bunny but just running round in circles ... ... I'd love to see Everton take their new stadium to the Championship though. please log in to view this image
My Leeds mate is worried about their options in the final 3rd, says they need at least 2 more to stand a chance. Leeds pressing has been very good, couple times they did leave space for Everton to counter into but Everton lacked the ability or movement to exploit it Everton have been dreadful tho, nothing has been good about their performance other than they arent getting beat
Leeds are worse going forward than they were last season considering Solomon has went back and they haven't replaced him. Think DCL is decent but not a game changer but I do like Okafor, although I haven't seen much of him since his Salzburg days
I actually thought Leeds looked really good there. Pure domination whilst keeping their style from last season. Against a prem regular too, good signs for us. Everton shameful tho.
