Memo to self, avoid Beercocks estate agents. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I'm of the opinion that we'll see our transfer embargo reduced to one window. The EFL are probably aware an independent panel would do this, so slapped us with a three window ban knowing there's a good chance we'd get a reduction on appeal. Other conspiracy theories are available. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
It's weird that he's assumed to be the second one even. He's never been behind Drameh in the pecking order and hasn't fallen behind him now, he's just got an injury. People have always wanted him to be worse than whoever the other right back is but it never happens.
Kinda feel if we get Gelhardt and Mcburnie and maybe able to register Puerta this fee restriction isn't that big of a deal as it was a few weeks ago
It's about time some of this rights nonsense got sorted out. Blocking international listeners from hearing a local radio interview with SJ clearly benefits no one. And it's a ridiculous state of affairs when City commentary is on but you can only listen on FM (treated as the flagship medium by the BBC but too dated to be supported on most modern devices) presumably because of concerns that someone outside the area could benefit from a live football commentary that's realistically of very little value particularly to people outside of the area.
Hi djsowtz, Actually, since I emigrated to Canada in '72, I've always resided in and around Toronto. However, I've been to BC many times and loved the whole experience on those trips. Was your Grandpa involved in the Aluminium production industry by any chance. I ask because Alcan (now Rio Tinto Alcan) was the major industry and biggest employer in Kitimat, BC and was on a short list of companies I was interested in joining at the time (had a Mining and Mineral Engineering education background). Decided on staying in Toronto because 2 of my old schoolmates from Hull had come over here a year before I did and I felt settled there. I ended up in BC a number of times over the intervening years ( Whistler, Vancouver, Nanaimo} where friends from Toronto ended up permanently - natural vacation destinations for me and the missus beckoned. Went on football tours in Vancouver and also on golf trips with other mates on the island.. On one trip, around '84 ish, took a road trip on Vancouver island with a mate and our wives from Victoria, up the East coast via Nanaimo and then across to Tofino on the Pacific coast. We actually passed through French Creek and spent the night in Qualicum Beach. My memory is failing somewhat , but I think we had a round of golf at a course in French Creek, or was it Qualicum? Anyway, hope I didn't bore you with these reminiscences, but lasting memories from a beautiful part of the world on the the West coast. I assume you've visited your family members out there?
He was defo second choice to Christie until he ****ed his knee. Either way, the hate is over the top. Coyle just needs to be given rests at times. He was very poor back end of the season but he’d played nearly every game no doubt with injuries
Whatever state Coyle is in 'a machine' like Serge says or otherwise.. to think he can displace Drameh on what he's show so far this pre season would seem folly to me.
Philogene's agent was touting him all over the gaff though, turning up at Barcelona for example like a muppet. I don't think Hughes's is of the same ilk!
i dont think hughes would want to go to coventry or sheff u this summer he has another good season someone like burnley or leeds god forbid may come in or a brentford or someone (or maybe, we'll be in the prem) its alot of faffing about moving house etc for a move to cov
Well, he's clearly a man of his word then because he didn't sell him for £25.6m, he went for about half that.
They only have rights to broadcast locally. They split to frequencies to cover the other clubs simultaneously. City tend to get FM to reach more people as it's the most listened to frequency and are the biggest club in the area. They can't broadcast EFL coverage online as they don't have that contract. The club broadcasts online audio for a small fee.
I understand all of that, but it leads to a messy situation where you actually need to either dig out an old radio unit or go sit in your car in order to listen to City. Something about those rights should change so that you can just stick it on your Google Home, Alexa or your phone and listen, like with any other radio programme.
Then folks out of area could access it. Just stump up the 6.99 a month if it saves sitting in the car.
