Ipswich would be lucky if the got £5 million for Greaves now - he had a very poor second half last year, he was pushed out to left back which is what Rosie did with him to stem the goals and the fans started getting on his back - not aware anyone's come in for him over the Summer - clearly people think Hughes is a much better option with the amount of attention he's getting

I agree. He wasn’t impressive at all last season. I’ve said it before but he would’ve been better off going to an established Premier League club where he wasn’t expected to start straight away like West Ham, Everton or Fulham.

This reminds me of when Boro bid like £5M for Greaves during the summer of the 22/23 season. We kept him for two more full seasons and sold him for nearly four times that much.

I’m a little concerned that it’s being reported that we’d entertain offers above £10M for Hughes. We shouldn’t be entertaining any offers unless it reaches Jakirović’s £20M valuation. The party line should be that he’s not for sale this summer.

Absolutely this. £8m for one leg? We need to build the team around him this next season, with better calibre of players coming in/around him, potentially a great season in store for him, with Prem League suitors interested next year. UTT

That hasn’t been said anywhere, the boss himself suggested if the bans lifts Frigan is coming, within the same interview he said Hughes is categorically not for sale.

Even if the fee restriction is lifted we are sailing very close to FFP. That's according to Baz when the wage cap was lifted allowing us to make the recent signings last week.

Kamara is one to watch.

Don't know what the panic is, we've said we're not selling.

Was about to say the same. Didn't we pay something like 3.5 million with add ons for him when we brought him in? He's got 3 years left plus an option for 4 and he's young with bags of potential. It'd take silly money before we even considered it bearing in mind we'd struggle to get a replacement currently as well. I get the impression Hughes is happy here as well so I don't see what the problem is. Clubs can enquire and bid all they want to.

Wouldn't be surprised if Palmer finds himself available once the proposed midfield reinforcements come in.

Theres also interest in Drameh which might be considered if Williams signs.
I won't miss Palmer I'm afraid, not been great for us so would definitely cash in if a suitable offer comes in. Drameh has to stay regardless of Williams, as it gives us more depth and prevents Coyle worming his way back into the line up if/when injuries inevitably start hitting.

Our model is to develop players to sell, so he will be sold at some point.

But we clearly believe his value will rise significantly with another good championship season under his belt.

You underestimate Coyle. He's absolutely fine as a second RB.
