Seems so ... maybe. The rules I quoted were apparently only in reference to other english clubs so my apologies there - as ipswich had 4 loans in last season with 2 from abroad and 2 domestic.
Looks like Ipswich had 4 last season. Two domestic and two foreign. Dunno if the foreign limits have changed since we were last here.
I have the rule book in front of me and still it doesnt make any more sense. I'm sure someone can bother to make sense of it.
I can definitely see us doing a deal or two like the Le Fee one last season where it’s a season long loan with an obligation to buy if we avoid relegation, could see a few big players who are out of favour at their parent clubs come available
We not pretending he’s Salah or whatever here. What he is is a player who can score from nothing and we will need that
https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Art...-quel-avenir-pour-les-lofteurs-du-psg/1582616 Nordi Mukiele: an end-of-summer dossier It took a few hours six months ago. Bayer Leverkusen and PSG had been close, last winter, to finalising a transfer of Nordi Mukiele, then loaned across the Rhine. Since then, the prospect of reaching an agreement has moved away. The German club, plagued by internal developments (beyond the departure of Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid), has changed its initial plans. The French international (27 years old, 1 selection, under contract until 2027), bought about €10 million in Leipzig in 2022, has returned to the capital. In recent weeks, English clubs have initiated contacts. Without it finding a favourable echo in the player. The former Montpellier has also pushed back exotic destinations (Saudi Arabia) and Turkey. The right-back is waiting for a high-level challenge in Europe.
I always thought it was a bit daft when people insisted RLB/Speakman/KLD were all being held to ransom by the Bellingham family …. … he was in the squad on merit while, at the same time, developing into a massive cash asset. This is why I can see how the club are trying to manage other players like Mayenda, Huggins, Alese, etc. … … without those players we’d quickly run out of the huge sums we’re spending on the likes of Xhaka. We can’t compete financially, with some clubs, so we have to be smarter.
He will get goals, had a dip in form when he missed the pens and his head dropped but showed up when it counted. The stats don’t lie.
