For player like Omur, you need a team that plays mostly around opponent area, with lots possession. He doesn't possess a good pace neither physical strength, not suitable for running around, neither defending, but his agility, acceleration and technique is great in tight spaces.

I think he did run around under Rosenior. LR was big on the front four pressing and he trusted Ömür to start every week for him. I also like that he goes up for every header even though he's unlikely to win it. Too many attacking players shy away from aerial challenges because it isn't their strength.

Lets see what Jalarovic makes of Vaughah. I for one rate him, but, I know many on here dont.

Similar to Abdus just less experienced and more lightweight.

Quite pretty technically, tries hard. No real end product but that's forgiveable because he's still very young and still has a way to go.

I wouldn't be giving up on him, but I wouldn't be pinning hopes on him being the next George Best either

The kids right footed, he hasn't got a left peg, but Rosie and Walt always insisted on playing him left side. 99 times out of 99, he'd come inside and get snuffed out...FCOL play him/ try him on the right and see if he can beat a man on the outside...Which he never did in all the games I saw him...Never ever can understand why the 'coaches' can't see that, and why me never a coach in a million years can. Baffling..

Because it's normal to play left-footers on the right and right-footers on the left nowadays, as evidenced by our best recent pairing, Kamil Grosicki and Jarrod Bowen.

Vaughan has great technical ability, but is knocked off the ball far too easily and that would be case whichever side he was on.

I get that...But it doesn't work with him.. Not sure about the getting 'knocked off the ball too easily' when he's never played right side which is his more natural side..Try him on the right and I'd even wager a small bet that he's far more effective and might even get to the by-line to create a few chances...Though not sure who will be available at City or who will have the ability and anticipation to knock them in!!!

Vaughan does get knocked off the ball, that's true.

The question should be why is he holding onto the ball? He makes some clever runs, gets himself into a bit of space. Then what?

Where's the overlapping fullback? Where's the striker dropping back to receive the ball? Where's the dynamic midfielder busting a gut to get in the box?

Fact is that in the games he's played any good work on his part has been undone by the fact that he's had no options with what to do with the ball.

He definitely needs to bulk up a bit as the physical aspect is holdng him back. Not dissimilar in size and height to Barmby but he could be a right ****house when required and prepared to get stuck in.

Zero clue how you arrive at this, lad looks absolutely lost at championship level and stunk the gaff out at Bristol Rovers. People are quick to launch Kamara under the bus (5 goals/3 assists Champ level) yet in the same vein will champion H.Vaughan. He's never going to be good enough.

Vaughan needs to play regularly in mens football in league 1 or 2

I wouldnt fully write him off
Id say its very unlikely hed be a good championship player
But some players are late bloomers

Vaughan’s small and weak physique makes him a lot less versatile. I think he’d be very good in a fluid team with a particular role such as if he was allowed the freedom to play like Geovanni in Phil Browns 4-3-geovanni-2 system. He's got the skills and quick feet to make it if a way can be found to make use of them.

I imagine we'll keep Drameh, especially in our current situation.

If we're unable to sign wingers we surely have to start the season with 3/5 at the back with Giles and Drameh providing the width. If we get Frigan in (somehow) and McBurnie you go two up top too.

How many first team appearances has the lad made! Not many from what I did see of him in a couple of cameo appearances he deserves more game time. There is a very good player waiting to be given a run I’m sure he deserves more time on the pitch!

The deal for Ömür had so many clauses too. I suppose it’s the only way we could’ve got him. £2.5 million fee + another £2.5 million if we get promoted to the Premier League + 50% sell-on clause on profit + 5% sell-on clause on any transfer fee we sell him for regardless of profit.

I think the deal for Allahyar had similar clauses. Even though we sold him to Westerlo for a loss, Fenerbahçe may still have been entitled to some of that transfer fee.

I’d have Allahyar back in a heartbeat if he was available. Had a great season in Belgium.
