He was a LB as a boy but now more of a midfielder. With the way the game is going and all the ‘full-back stepping into midfield’ modern nonsense it might be the plan. So if we take out Central Midfielders we have 2 wide berths for Smyth, Poku,Vale, Chair and Dembele(assuming Saito isn't coming back). Then 2 strikers from Celar, Kelman, Kolli, Lloyd and Frey, (Assuming 4-4-2). CM of just Morgan, Field and Varane? Is that about right?
