Is he a 4-4-2 guy? I missed that if so. Get it launched. Kick these fancy dan 4-2-3-1 trequartista double-pivot xG geeks into the stands.

I haven't read anywhere that Vine considers himself as a left back. All is interviews are playing attacking midfield "10 role" or on right wing cutting in, which Poku did for Posh. LB will deffo not be him. No zero about Brazilian lad, so presently LB is him, Larceche or Fox?

We could end up Chair cutting in from the left and Poku cutting in from the right

He was a LB as a boy but now more of a midfielder. With the way the game is going and all the ‘full-back stepping into midfield’ modern nonsense it might be the plan. Either way it’ll be a refreshing change to not be stood directly in line with Paal standing ten yards off his winger just waiting for the cross to go over his head.

Dembele should play if possible, only one who can take a corner or free kick for a start. I like the Japanese kid as well a bit lightweight but a great prospect

I've always thought Vale would be replacing Smyth.

So if we take out Central Midfielders we have 2 wide berths for Smyth, Poku,Vale, Chair and Dembele(assuming Saito isn't coming back). Then 2 strikers from Celar, Kelman, Kolli, Lloyd and Frey, (Assuming 4-4-2). CM of just Morgan, Field and Varane? Is that about right?

He's a number 10 and Stephan will see what Cifuentes couldn't and build a team around him.

    Or maybe not.

Not sure there's a tune to be had out of Madsen, hope I'm wrong but when a few on here got excited cos he played a forwards pass to Dembele once, it was like the second coming.
