Lazy arse women parking in mother and child places when they have no kids with them, like it some rite of passage. It's like someone parking there whose kids left home 5 years ago.

My wife is obsessed with those spaces. Since we had our son, she'll spot them and insist we use them whenever available, even if it's an empty car park and it makes absolutely no difference to us. Just the theoretical idea of getting some sort of benefit out of being allowed to use them seems to be the appeal.

Shoplifting and knife crime is up, and need tackling, but overall crime is about half what it was in the 80’s

And before everyone says it’s because it’s not reported anymore, murders are down 40% since the 80’s and I’m pretty sure they always get reported.

We just never knew as much about crime outside our own area then
I have lived (on and off) in London since the 80s. It is way safer now than it was then. I used to feel a little nervous in certain areas back then but not any more.

It’s almost as if older generations look back on their youth as being better than it really was…

Serial killers aren't as good as they were back in the 1970s. Two, three tops, if you discount Shipman as an anomaly.

Mother/child parking spaces don't exist where I live and I can't remember them in Anlaby Grandways when I grew up.. are they wider to get the car seats in easier, or are they nearer the shop entrance to save carrying a baby so far?

Disappointing posters are attributing it to race
The scrotes that started this conversation by me
We’re all white
The piss heads/ spice heads round town centre are all white
The black lads in town are the ones delivering the food to all the lazy fat bastards round Cambridge st area

should we be allowing all these dodgy immigrants/asylun seekers in?
No
And that’s a different discussion
Link?
Wrong.
Nobody has attributed it to race.
The country, and society in general, is becoming more and more broken in a whole host of ways and for a whole host of reasons.

I wonder why she's single.

Utter lawlessness and it's getting worse...

I live just outside Glasgow in a town with a capacity of 60k + residents...Police Station is closed at nights and Weekends? I still see the odd copper around the place, especially if there's something 'big' going on but generally their presence is low key.

It's got to the stage where you do your own policing in your own street.
I'm not the biggest champion of the police but I see their point in some situations.
Same guy I was talking to explained that they are scared to get physical with people now too as if they are sacked for assault they lose their pension. It's crazy.

When I was younger I was a bit of a lad. Got locked up plenty of times for scrapping around town, being a boxer you're a bit of a target but I didn't need much of an invite. It didn't take me long to realise that once the van doors shut your mouth needed to do the same as in those days you would get a couple of stray elbows and knees from the coppers. Fair play, I'd have done the same in their situation too.

If they’re sacked for assault they should 100% lose their pension.

That scrote from Croydon didn’t even get sacked for assault never mind lose his pension

We all on here moan that we are a forgotten City at the arse end of the country. Personally I think we are lucky to be so remote from the ****holes which are growing more and more lawless and ****ed up by an influx of certain types. Sorry no politics.
We're just a small version of London, Brum, Liverpool etc. Those areas have the same issues but multiplied by 5, 10, 20 etc.

Our only hope is to keep doing the right thing and try and educate. That's a pretty difficult job as there is such a detachment from the decent people to the grubs that are bringing these kids into the world and not bringing them up properly. There will be exceptions but it's almost certain that the nobs on these bikes with their faces covered up have parents that are nobs and maybe even grandparents who are nobs. It's being brewing for a long time now.

If the police had found the bloke who video called my daughter with his dick in his hand I'd have expected nothing less than them to assault him when they picked him up.

However what I meant was these little arses on scooters kick off and then when grabbed and restrained they cry assault. It's not worth the risk.

To be fair mate it's a legal minefield. Try getting me in trouble for parking there with my 23 year old lad. There is no guidelines.

On a serious note I agree. Should be for those with pushchairs only but like with so much in life the selfish, lazy and entitled show themselves up by using them.

They have policies & professional standards. If they’re unable to conduct themselves within the parameters of these standards then they’re in the wrong job & stealing a pay packet & a pension.
