There is something there with Parker.

But he bailed out in the huff at Bournemouth, implying the squad was useless and didn't have a chance. Gary O'Neill kept them up no bother. A couple of promotions with quite well off clubs is a lot less than Steve Bruce or Colin W***er have managed .

Parker is a strange one. He deserves credit for what he did last season but I also question how much was truly linked to him. The numbers of clean sheets was fantastic but then you look deeper and see thst Trafford’s stats were off the scale so a lot was just down to having by far the best keeper in the league performing very well.

I’d rather Parker got the Brentford job than McKenna who I do think is a very good coach.

Parker still 33/1 to land the Brentford job. That’s massive if he is actually on a 3-man shortlist…

While Burnleys achievements are obviously very impressive defensively, was a massive part of that just how Parker set up the midfield to never take risks positionally and both just stay deep in possession.

Total mess of a club, feel for the fans
Was talking to one this morning. owner wants £100m to sell apparently. I’d say that’s ambitious especially give their transfer embargo which would likely be inherited. I actually fear for their future. Players can start to walk out if they don’t get paid. They could do with a new stadium but limited room round there build one. All very dispiriting for SW fans.

Sheff Wed are in a mess mind!

It's shocking mind.

Old, ordinary team, old ground, rented training facilities, constant wage delays, transfer embargo for three windows, raving loony as an owner and now, the one thing they got right is going to be undone.

So no boss, no coaches, no hope. They would all take a relegation now if it meant getting rid of Chansiri.

There but for the grace of God....

Yeah I see them getting relegated this year unless a change of ownership rallies them back together - but even if they are taken over I doubt they over turn the transfer embargo so will be fighting with one hand tied behind their back

Yep. The £100m is " down from" his earlier £150m. !!!

This bloke is quite literally mad.

There is nothing there of value. No genuinely saleable players, no physical assets, a very likely relegation looming, supporters in mutinous mood, no transfers, ( who'd go there anyway?) and a tax bill coming right up. Then the next wage bill. Then the next one.

£100m??? It's hard to put a bottom on the price of Wednesday now.
