Can't blame people for trying tbh.

Everyone, on here, should avoid saying they're away from home or carry their tickets on them ...

... I might just burgle your house <laugh>

Not quite - met up with my mate from school who became a true Sunderland fan after we dragged him along to the 6-2 thrashing of Sheff Utd at Roker park

Saw a few Man City down for the FA cup though

    Hm… evidence…

Although your alibi should be pretty water tight when you’re probably in the same place I am!!

I've drove down to the Midlands today for my niece's wedding down the A1. Anyone thinking of doing that next week there's roadworks around the turn off for Doncaster/Barnsley. It wasn't too bad driving down but northbound was gridlocked.

    Just a word of warning

I booked three hotels when I knew we'd be in the playoffs, all free cancellation.

One has just sent a message saying they've double booked so my booking is cancelled - which means they've sold it for three times what I paid.

I have two left and I'll cancel one unless someone needs it ...

... it's NW8 6ER and £144 for Friday and Saturday night, I have four days to cancel so no rush.

    The cheeky barstewards.

    we got a handy “
    See you in
    a week.
Here's some handy info” message to calm our nerves.

next thing is getting our reserved seats on the grand central on Friday !

the train is fully booked but we’ve a plan to get on it early at Sunderland rather than Hartlepool like the journey planner came up with for that time of the morning

I may have a customer for you mate, a girl if that won't cause you problems.

Also for anyone who was at the Argyll for Wycombe Cris, the Sheikh's head gardener, is coming from Surrey to have a few drinks with us all ...

... he's a cracking lad and great that he'll be there without a ticket, he says I should help anyone else first.

My brother has sorted me a ticket so just booked my flights back. I’d already booked an Airbnb with some mates in the hope I could go. I was tempted to head back even without a ticket.
In the past I have went in and out in a day but this time heading over Friday to make a weekend of it. I’m having to get a 6.20am flight back on Sunday morning so that could be painful!

Hope this is OK to post on this thread, but seen on Facebook it would have been Bradley's 14th birthday today.

Happy Heavenly Birthday little man, your smile lit up the football world.

During the Sunderland Story they put his little face on the screen as one of our fallen. He was superb.

    Exactly right mate :emoticon-0103-cool:

It was going to be the London Bridge Experience followed by a performance of contemporary mime in the evening ...

... but an entire day on the piss seems more suited to my sophisticated tastes <cheers>
