One thing for sure, not talking about bookies odds

but we’re going in as underdogs surprisingly. Coventry fans are extremely confident, seen a lot of our fans not

Our young team love beating expectations
Didn't someone post we are slight favourites to progress (52%)?

From the Coventry forum ...

... ignoring the fact that it's exactly what Coventry did <laugh>

"Thing is you can't just flip a switch between the first half of the season and the second."
The thing is, you can. They’re professional footballers and these games count. Flying into to tackles and playing at 100 mph didn’t matter for 6/7 games, this is when they’ll earn the wages and take us to Wembley.

Bristol City only only just scraped a draw at home to Preston, battered at Leeds and Luton and could only manage a draw at QPR. They struggled to beat a ten man team in their other game which was the win that put them in the playoffs …

… yet, despite playing the best team in the playoffs, their supporters are more optimistic than some of ours.

Even if they’re not confident of winning they're being positive and believing in their team.

Plymouth were terrible but switched on in games against the top teams.

They even beat the PL Champions …

… then were relegated.

Coventry switched off against Luton and Plymouth then back on for Boro …

… that's football.

Massively important we don't give them something to defend. We've shown how we struggle to break down a low block all year but if they have to come at us I'm confident we'll beat them both legs

No one will be expecting the Spanish Inquisition.

I’d like to see us go on the attack and keep attacking unless we concede then get the spare central defender on. Their defence needs to be kept on their toes from the start …

… we have Enzo to pass the ball inside their full backs, or over the top in the middle, and we have the pace to get at their keeper quickly.

We saw at Plymouth how hesitant they can be at the back …

… I just don’t want the game played in our half, it’s exhausting for everyone.

Completely agree. You can turn it on by being switched on, getting stuck in and executing your role properly. I'm really not as worried as a lot of people seem to be. I worry more about the formation and where to put Le Fee. I also worry about going a goal down, but they've played through those situations before too.

Ticket details have been confirmed for Coventry City’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Final second leg away to Sunderland.

The Sky Blues travel to the Stadium of Light on Tuesday 13th May, with an 8pm kick-off for the tie.

Coventry City have a full allocation of 2,500 tickets for this fixture, in the North Stand Upper Tier 3. There will be no sales on the day.

Sky Blues fans can purchase 1 ticket per Supporter Number.
'Miserly' according to the Coventry forum despite giving us half of what we could've sold.

Agree with this.
We play pre-season friendlies, but they aren't the same as playing league games, they're preparation for them.
They certainly switched on once the season got underway, and they'll do it again.

I'm immensely nervous especially since I'm not at work this week so have nothing to distract me.

We beat anyone on their day and Isidor has generally shown up on the big games (Leeds, Boro, Sheff utd for example) so anyone writing us off is going a bit far.

We also have such a bad record against Coventry that it is almost screaming to be broken. Stranger things have happened
