Hopefully they get a tad complacent and don’t perform due to our recent form and last performance at their ground

but being realistic anything a goal defeat or better for us in the away leg is good going in the play offs. A draw would be a fantastic result with our crowd to roar them through the second leg

either way this video has pulled me right back in

I'm choosing to cling on to the rope a dope philosophy. I mean RLB had us playing the way he did in first 10 games or so. He can see how it's changed. Surely he knows if or how we can reignite this. Interesting...

Time now for all the guff and chat to stop! Time for the fans and supporters to really show their true colours! Time to stop all the bitching and moaning! Time to win.
I am going for a 0-2 first leg win for Sunderland and a tight 1-1 on the return leg

On the front foot from kick off press the ****e out of them and we'll win.
Start off the way we have been playing and we'll get beat.

I think a 1-0 Friday wouldn't be the worst result, it'll mean we have to go for it Tuesday I'd worry taking a slender lead into the second leg and do our usual sit back and defend.

Never once seen us "sit back and defend" in a home game

For what its worth... If RLB doesn't find a line up that means Le Fee is in the middle orchestrating our play ( what he was brought in for) then i'm not certain why he was brought in..Out wide he is no where near as effective. With Neil, Jobe and Le Fee, that would be some midfield IMHO

I asked on another thread, how good/tough is the ref John Busby for Friday? I'm over the moon Andy Madley has our home leg.

He looks pretty consistent for us and Coventry.
2 games each, 2 yellows each and no red cards <cheers>

Usually watch away games in the house, but a few of us have decided to get together at the local to watch it.

This week is going to go so slow building up to 8pm Friday

Cheers RTB we’re leaving at 2pm on Friday with the Seaham Branch, see you down there. Lots of people on Saturday at the game have already wrote us off, my 2 pence is, we will come out of the traps flying, try to get an early goal, silence the crowd down as what I’ve read from their forums they’re already at Wembley, I think you will see a different hungry young Sunderland with something to play for and write us off at your peril, I’m buzzing for this and sticking my neck on the line, I really fancy us 1-3, they’re not Brazil, can’t wait for this haway haway haway

    From the Coventry forum ...

... ignoring the fact that it's exactly what Coventry did <laugh>

One thing for sure, not talking about bookies odds

but we’re going in as underdogs surprisingly. Coventry fans are extremely confident, seen a lot of our fans not

Our young team love beating expectations
