Players I’d move on;

Drameh (sell 500k)
Jones (sell £1million)
McLaughlin (sell £1 million)
Omur (sell £2 million)
Mehlem (sell £1 million)
Giles (sell for £1 million)
Burns (end loan)
Lincoln (end loan)
Alzate (sell £6 million)
Amrabat (end loan)
Sinik (contact end)
Vaughan (out for loan)
Burstow (out for loan)

That would be 12 out of- hopefully bring in £12.5 million for the lot.

Bring in;

Tyler Bindon (loan from Notts Forest)
Zambrano (£3 million)
Barry (loan) or Harvey Knibbs
Gelhardt (loan if possible)
LB
RB
CF
CF

13 out, 8 in. Hopefully at least break even on fees. No investment needed and reduced wage bill.

We won’t be able to pay big fees and need the new recruitment team to pick up smart signings.

* please note all prices are complete guesstimates but think they should be in the ballpark

you missed Coyle out - quality just isn't there, I know he gives 100% but he's not a leader oin the pitch and after this season we need a change - you also missed out Pedro, another year older and losing pace - but you're right about the rest - we really need a big clear out although moving players on isn't always that easy

You should post more often

You always post such good stuff
And i agree

Our seasons completely diff if matazo and barry dont get season ending injuries

Gelhardt and egan were great

Crooks seemed to majorly struggle with fitness but even then
All 3 of his goals were ****ing vital

Joseph cost too much though for what i think is a league one player
Agreed. What I think is worth mentioning, Selles made a point in January tranfer window of only bringing in players that want to fight for the cause. Gelhardt, Crooks and Amrabat play like they give a damn. Crooks was the first one to go to the away end after the match today, he cared. Barry and Matazo were great incomings, it's a shame they got injured. He deserves to rebuild with players he deems fit, quality and mentality. Also worth menitioning, Selles had to tell the lads to join and celebrate. It was almost fake and forced by some of them, that was very telling.
The injuries to Bellumi, Miller, Matazo, Barry. The loss of Zambrano has been a massive factor in our dreadful season. I’m sure if they had all remained playing it would have been a totally different outcome!
Hopefully they will be back soon. Alzate. Puerta, Pandor, Hughes, are all good enough whether we can keep them for financial reasons is debatable. Sensible recruitment for a Striker or two! Plus left and right backs we should be fine.

After a number of hit and miss transfer windows, I'd look back on Jan and say all the signings played their part, even Lincoln and Amrabat who didn't play that much contributed to points that kept us up. Only qn mark for me is Joseph and that's because of the price.....if he'd been say 1m I'd be sat there thinking yeah give him time but ATM jury still out.

Davis Keillor-Dunn, Luke Molyneux, Poku. All currently L1, but one of these three might be worth a punt over the summer. Assuming we don't have a massive wedge to splurge on players.

ps......That Alli lad at Luton looks decent. Assagard, but a bit H&C

I suppose we don’t know how much amrabat and Lincoln cost us either

Simons will join wycombe wont he?

Should we keep him?

I didn't think he was bad in the first half of the season at all. He's very young and won't be on big money. We'll be short of centre mids if Puerta and Alzate, and maybe even Slater, go. He's competed at the top end of League 1 and apparently been very good; if he wasn't already our player people would be saying yeah sign him up.

Wycombe have an option to buy which I think they will exercise. Paderborn also have an option to buy for Mehlem.

If we sell Alzate and sign Zambrano, then we still don’t have a recognised 6 until at least November so that would be a priority in the summer. I was hoping for a midfield three of Zambrano, Puerta and Alzate but I don’t think we’ll see that.

I don't think Puerta and Alzate work particularly well together for whatever reason anyway.

Strange to appoint a new head of recruitment if we're skint...
Was thinking that exact point myself, sounds so much like he’s going to try and do things the right way next season, the owner I mean, let people who actually know about football take the lead. Or I could be totally wrong but it will definitely be a bit of a wild ride…..hold on to your hats ladies lol

are you watching that and telling me
kamaras best position is not in midfield?
it wont be easy, but technically he's good enough, he does not have that explosive pace wingers have

kamara is not a winger, and i stand by it

half these clips he's dominating the attacking mid area
What it definitely shows is he has such good feet, his first touch is sublime and moves across the ground not fast but gracefully and in total control. Honestly think he will come into his own next season and be one of the first names on the team sheet. I don’t know how anyone can say he’s a waste of money….

If Pandur leaves and I know he has a decent contract probably with an extension, does Tim get the gloves or do City bring back Racioppi (or is an option to buy with Koln). and 2 why was Racioppi so badly though of...?
