Agreed. What I think is worth mentioning, Selles made a point in January tranfer window of only bringing in players that want to fight for the cause. Gelhardt, Crooks and Amrabat play like they give a damn. Crooks was the first one to go to the away end after the match today, he cared. Barry and Matazo were great incomings, it's a shame they got injured. He deserves to rebuild with players he deems fit, quality and mentality. Also worth menitioning, Selles had to tell the lads to join and celebrate. It was almost fake and forced by some of them, that was very telling.

Brought in players up for the fight then barely played them, Crooks and Arambat.

crooks was not fit enough unfortunately
thats the reason

amrabat was a mega cheap signing that doesnt mean much

Yeah Selles said something about that. It wasn't totally clear but it maybe explains what's been confusing me with him. He's way too effective to be in and out of the side. If fully fit, one of the first names on the team sheet of this squad, for me.

it was obvious though from watching him
his cardiovascular fitness was way off unfortunately, and that's something you cant really count for

the transition from mid west to england again could have been too fast,i was surprised how unfit he seemed to championship football
but that could be joining us during his teams end of season

which again brings me to my point of j league players
they are made to play in the championship

they are always cheap too

its a massive market we have had no agency in yet unfortunately

I have just rewatched Kyle Joseph’s goals reel .
He has had scored with a few good strikes.
Apart from one chance he fluffed in one of the last few matches I can not recall any other chances.
Don’t think it’s his fault but just a reflection on how poor we have been getting the ball into the box.
Hopefully all will change next year.

Apparently his first shot on target since signing was today.

Cant fault his effort at all, fully agree with you we don't create enough chances.

One good point is there aren't too many garbage players in Acun's other club this year, so we can get players we want from anywhere without cleaning their garbage, similar to first and last summer of Rosenior.

are you watching that and telling me
kamaras best position is not in midfield?
it wont be easy, but technically he's good enough, he does not have that explosive pace wingers have

kamara is not a winger, and i stand by it

half these clips he's dominating the attacking mid area

how good must barry have been at stockport
he's still their top scorer while not played since december and they've only finished 5 points behind wrexham

Players I’d move on;

Drameh (sell 500k)
Jones (sell £1million)
McLaughlin (sell £1 million)
Omur (sell £2 million)
Mehlem (sell £1 million)
Giles (sell for £1 million)
Burns (end loan)
Lincoln (end loan)
Alzate (sell £6 million)
Amrabat (end loan)
Sinik (contact end)
Vaughan (out for loan)
Burstow (out for loan)

That would be 12 out of- hopefully bring in £12.5 million for the lot.

Bring in;

Tyler Bindon (loan from Notts Forest)
Zambrano (£3 million)
Barry (loan) or Harvey Knibbs
Gelhardt (loan if possible)
LB
RB
CF
CF

13 out, 8 in. Hopefully at least break even on fees. No investment needed and reduced wage bill.

We won’t be able to pay big fees and need the new recruitment team to pick up smart signings.

* please note all prices are complete guesstimates but think they should be in the ballpark

You'd be lucky to get anywhere near that much for most of them.

If Longman was 500k then I don’t think they’re too excessive. We might get more for Alzate. So £12million for the lot won’t be a million miles off.

You forgot Puerta who unfortunately looks like he's headed for the exit door and will surely bring in a profit on the £3 million we paid
