based on that logic we'd have been 6 points worse off before playing Luton and Derby (probably bottom of the table at that point)
There's a lot of talk regarding our form after the international break or after the Pedro red card... did it really change that much though? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/hull-city/scores-fixtures/2025-04 Looking at our results over the months we've been fairly consistent. Obviously it fluctuates slightly but its pretty similar. The odd rare win, occasional draw but mostly losses. Thats pretty much been the same since Selles came in, before and after the international break/Pedro sending off. It's also great to see that when we have lost, its only been by the odd goal. Add a decent striker and a fully fit team and we'll do much better next season, we dont need much. For me, Selles has done a decent job in a very difficult situation. Other teams around us have also done well to survive but considering where we were in the table when Selles took over, plus the injuries and player ban, he's done better than most give him credit for.
Really can’t be bothered with all the speculation about Selles and Acun. If he’s looking at selling then tell us. If not just nip it in the bud. We neee a summer of stability, maybe 5/6 signings and keep the manager.
martin hodge is a really great appointment, the club is thinking very proactively he's got absolutely extensive knowledge and experience in championship football and jared dublin will be working under him
Seems sensible on paper, but suspect we'll still see the owner making his own decisions on players to a similar extent as before. Hope I'm wrong.
I said we were ****ed if we go down. Less ****ed if we stay up. Do not think for a second there aren't still financial hurdles now we've stayed up.
Just go back through the transfer thread. If you don't believe me, take note of Toast, Howden and MVN. Maybe take a look at Baz's livestream too.
Maybe it’s time to just let things play out and enjoy the break till next season, bin the doom and gloom it’s not always what it seems or as bad as it sounds.
I'm really happy with him coming, along with a couple of scouts he's looking to bring with him that I know well
as chazz said in the loan thread i believe it too mehlem is made for championship football in my opinion, surely we keep him? he has every attribrute you want for a championship player since he's gone over there though, his team could genuinely get promoted which is my point sell him for good money if he gets promoted or keep him here
