Is Matazo due back around November? So we are likely to have Matazo and Zambrano available around the same time. Would love Morton or similar on loan. Think Slater will leave, the fact his name came up in that story last month suggests agents working for a move. If Alzate also leaves I would be trying really hard to keep Puerta, at least until January. A spine of Pandur, Egan, Hughes, Matazo, Zambrano is very, very good. Belloumi and Miller wide is also excellent. Fullbacks and a striker must be the priority.
I’d flog for certain: Drameh Slater Jones or macca Joseph (no chance but a man can dream) Burstow Alzate Giles Omur Sinik Melhelm Dependant: Coyle (maybe a good back up but he’s really ****ed it for me this year really went missing when we needed a leader, Slater even worse he should have stepped up this year and he’s ghosted.) Kamara (I like him and he’s a good option but if he wants to leave and we can get some good cash for him then see ya) Palmer (same as above) excited to see Matazo x Zambrano that coupled with Belloumi, Millar and a new striker is a better prospect for El Jefe surely.
I think Burstow has to go out on loan next year. He has a lot of raw potential but needs to be playing to unlock it.
Other than for financial reasons, I cannot comprehend the sale of Macca.. Someone else mentioned him earlier in a sell list. Wont be on a fortune, never goes missing and has shown adaptability. Just as a footnote, Greaves improved for having to play left back.
Needs to work on his heading.Seems to try his hardest not to head the ball. Playing out wide can probably get away with it but more centrally needs to challenge more. We seem to loose a lot of headers in midfield with Slater Alzate and Puerta not being the tallest.Omur also not confident with his heading.
He’s **** and incredibly thick. Labouring over in the final seconds yesterday and letting it go out for a throwing sum him up. Not good enough, won’t ever be good enough, get rid.
I don’t know how anyone can make a case for not getting rid of Selles. We have been utterly ****ing dreadful. Performances as poor and gutless as I’ve ever witnessed. I don’t see how he keeps his job and if he does, we will probably find ourselves in a similar situation in January, with another expensive season down the pan.
Isn't that sort of thing what you learn when you're in the kids teams, like when you're 10 12 or 14. The basic attributes, honing skills if they have any can come later.
Simmons has lots of good attributes too, he’s strong, fairly athletic, likes a tackle, but much like Burstow, he’s pretty much bang average at everything. Simmons lacks quality on the ball and I don’t think he’ll ever make the level of a championship team challenging for promotion. Burstow lacks any sort of intelligence and again, isn’t good enough
Re Burstow. Think Im correct in saying Plymouth wanted him in January, but we wouldn't let him go to a team who we were battling. This summer they might well lose Hardie and perhaps Bundu and Tijani. I can see them coming back for him as he'll be in their price bracket.
Tyrhys Dolan out of contract at Blackburn. There’ll be plenty of interest in him. I’d hope that we’d throw our hat in the ring.
Sounds good (appointment and the thorough review stuff). "he's lost interest" https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...tm_medium=social&utm_campaign=communities?Dsd
Key thing for me is that Hodge was in the crowd at Portsmouth, which suggests he was set to join regardless of our league status..
