Some stato may explain it better but the new players should of either slotted in and replaced someone or not. It just looks like we added more names into the hat and had to give all of them a go.

Of that extensive list guys like Mehlem and Jacob aren't playing anymore, others are injured, and like all clubs there's always management of minutes with heavy schedules. No squad would use less than 17-18 players.

Overall we have the 8th best defensive record in the league in terms of goals conceded. Yet in terms of clean sheets we are the 2nd worst. There's a lot of reasons we're in trouble but this discrepancy is a huge one - for all the good work our defence does in keeping things tight generally, they simply don't manage to keep a clean sheet anywhere near as often as they should, and that costs a lot of points. It's a really peculiar pattern.

We could really do with that to change tomorrow.

Think that's an unfair criticism of our defenders.

Attack is the best form of defence. We have no real attack.

Was nervous this time last week, and oddly probably would be today if we were outside the bottom 3. As it is I've just accepted it. If at any point a latest score transpires whereby we'd be outside the bottom 3 "as it stands" then I imagine the nerves will return.

Have a look at the daily mail sport, a piece about the final day of the season promotion and relegation battles as seen by Neil Warncock.
If only I could do a link thing.
