Overall we have the 8th best defensive record in the league in terms of goals conceded. Yet in terms of clean sheets we are the 2nd worst. There's a lot of reasons we're in trouble but this discrepancy is a huge one - for all the good work our defence does in keeping things tight generally, they simply don't manage to keep a clean sheet anywhere near as often as they should, and that costs a lot of points. It's a really peculiar pattern.

We could really do with that to change tomorrow.

 

The last time I recall a 3rd choice keeper doing us a favour was the Watford one back in 2013!

 

Think that's an unfair criticism of our defenders.

Attack is the best form of defence. We have no real attack.

Yeah, had a bit too much last night. City centre was dead by the way. Don't typically drink on a Friday night but it was grim.

 

Was nervous this time last week, and oddly probably would be today if we were outside the bottom 3. As it is I've just accepted it. If at any point a latest score transpires whereby we'd be outside the bottom 3 "as it stands" then I imagine the nerves will return.
