Selles should be looking at the players mentality in training this week and playing them accordingly.

This is basically a one off match to stay in the league. If you seem up for it you should play. If you don’t you shouldn’t
So a complete different starting 11 barring Panda then

The notion that Bowen was trying to protect himself for a transfer is silly but because you viewed something in a particular way you're not going to change your mind. Like, fine, but why even offer it up for discussion if you're going to treat your perspective as fact?
That’s what opinions are , I don’t say they are fact they are opinions , but unless someone proves it one way or another , you are right. Maybe I’m hinting that because he was a really good player for us he’s not infallible . Pre world cups prem players in the squad will ‘duck out’ for v good reasons . So when minnows play prem teams in the cup they are usually told to get into them also .
Your opinion about my idea or thought is that it’s ’silly ‘ so is that ‘’ fact’ - no it’s your opinion.
At least I’ve given my reason for it as player study, which is different to match study IMO .

That leaves us with (ignoring the keeper)...

Pandur
Coyle Drameh Hughes Jacob
Kamara Puerta Crooks Palmer
Geldhardt
Pedro

With Burstow and Slater (if he's fit) on the bench.

I was just about to post, I normally prefer giving youth a chance but this is a game where the journeymen should be on at the start and hopefully with their experience get a goal or two. Desperate indeed, but I'd take a point now and hope for the best. A time to end a xxxx season on a high.

Everyone's saying we need to forget about a draw, go for the win. But I really don't think it's as simple as that. Obviously a win is ideal, but what is our best chance of staying up? If we lose we're down, and we're in very poor form. So like it or not, we do have to entertain the possibility that a draw might be all we can get and we might have to hang onto that. If we concede first you really wouldn't fancy this side's chances of getting back into it, so we can't do that. To some extent we will have to keep it tight, stay in the game and keep ourselves in a position where we have the luxury of looking at other scores in the second half and deciding what to do. If we're a goal down and chasing it then we'll already have one foot in League 1.

A 24hr truce. A big game tonight 8pm with Leeds United to beat Bristol City and make their game v Preston on Saturday a must win. They did us a favour years ago at Watford, they can do the same tonight.

Come on, give it a go, Marching On Together........

I hate Leeds and really can't be arsed with hearing about them winning the title. The promotion was annoying enough. It'd be another cherry on the top of this ****e season, much like 2019/20 when we finished bottom and they won the league then too.

No way am I hoping they'll win just in the hope that it motivates Bristol City to beat Preston allowing us to stay up with a draw, particularly given that: they're probably going to win anyway; Bristol City are probably going to beat Preston anyway; and we probably aren't going to get anything at Portsmouth anyway.

if leeds hadnt scored that goal against watford we'd never have had that awesome party in may 2013

Strictly we didn't need that goal, we were already going up providing Watford didn't score. But yes, I wanted them to win that day and celebrated their goal like anyone else. Back then they were mid table Championship ****e who we'd done the double over, so it was easier to want them to win a meaningless three points. Now they're pretty successful and the media fawning over them makes it harder to accept when they get success, and it'll be everywhere again if they win the title.

When will Sky decide on their chosen matches? After tonight’s game?

Are all the games on the red button?

They aren't sat 3pm so should be red button, but don't think they are

All games kick off at 12.30.

On a Saturday.

Why would that happen unless it's to get around the no televised 3 o'clock kickoff rule?

Edit: unless it's the rule where all last game of the season games must kick off simultaneously and they are still only going to televise a few of them.
