Anyone not a supporter reading this board would think we're relegated already. We've got half a chance to save ourselves, why not focus on that instead? There's a whole summer to debate the other stuff and at least we'll know where our starting point is.
Tend to agree. There are 4 or 5 result permutations that would see us safe though it needs ro be a must win mentality from the coach and players - no ****ing about. That said, I can't believe it has come down to the last game, but I also can because the whole season from end of last until now has been a **** show.
Agree, no ****ing about. Hard to instill a must win mentality when the players know there are options, so I think the mentality from ko must be to score first and take control of the game.
Regardless of what happens on Saturday and last seasons near miss the club is in dire need of real focus yet again. The Big Turk has defiantly beat his chest demanding attacking football yet shows a complete anomaly as to how to achieve it. Whilst he cleverly created enormous respect visiting local waterholes for a bloke who apparently bleeds football it’s embarrassingly clear he’s f’kin naive to a point of being clueless how to go about getting it. My biggest worry is not the potential looming relegation, but one of somebody who won’t admit he’s out of his depth in terms of buying decent players yet because he’s ‘all we’ve got right’ now I fear he looks upon City as an expensive English play thing he’s fallen in love with but a club only he, and he alone can fix with a fan base who to be fair have given him incredible loyalty after having to watch the stuff that’s haunted us at home all season.. Rant over. UTT.
Hull City head coach Ruben Selles has played down the significance of a video appearing to show captain Lewie Coyle swearing at fans. Coyle has been subjected to criticism and was involved in an incident during the draw with Norwich City last weekend. But Selles says it was a "moment of passion" and called on fans to back Coyle. "We talked about it," Selles told BBC Radio Humberside. "I have seen the video. It is a moment passion and reaction. It is not a big thing. It is the team that is not in the best moment, not one player.
He was at it again against Derby with his hand gestures to the East stand. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
there's a close up video somewhere - when we scored against Norwich - every player cheered the goal except Coyle who stood in front of the kiddies stand and shouted '**** off ' to everyone - bizarre really
A pity he doesn't show similar frustration towards referees, if it's a poor decision he meekly walks away. He's a very good club captain, but a poor team captain. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
1. You don't tell your own fans to **** off even if frustrated. 2. Fans should not boo or abuse your own team. I go to support City and have never booed or had a go at players at games and I've seen some crap over the years . I air my criticism on here . 3. Boo and abuse the opposition not City . UTT - come on City
Draw on the spirit of away games against Sheffield United, Sunderland, Millwall, Blackburn and Sheffield Wednesday.
Agreed. The 6 result permutations that'll ensure our safety are: (1) and (2): If we win, because Stoke play Derby away and both can't win. Whichever one loses would drop below us due to our superior goal difference. (3) If we draw, and Stoke beat Derby (away) by more than 3 goals, Derby would drop below us due to our superior goal difference (4) and (5) If we draw, and if Preston and/ or Luton lose, we'd be higher than one or both of them given our superior goal difference. (6) If we lose, we're toast in all other result scenarios. BUT WAIT... (7) EXCEPT EXTREMELY DUBIOUS dark horse scenario: if we draw and Plymouth beat Leeds by 26 goals or more, they (Plymouth ) would go above us with a superior goal difference. Leeds may take on the "on the beach" posture given they've reached their goal. It would of course cement the Farke decision once and for all.
No. We draw, our goal difference remains (-10) PNE's is already (-11). A loss for them by any score would end up being >(-11) Bristol City would want to win by any score to cement a place in the playoffs.
