Baz is at it again!

This has all been clearly copied and pasted from this website, including a shameless lift from one of my posts

'Sources close to Zambrano, suggest the delay in the decision being released might be down to the Ecuadorian youngster simply plucking up the courage to reveal that he is still extremely banned'

We all know this article is the result of Baz reading Toasties suggestion that we could just phone CAS and ask when the findings are to be published.

Baz clearly picked up on this suggestion and phoned them and they said ‘I dunno’. That’s all Baz needed for some clickbait…I mean article :emoticon-0116-evilg

This promises to be a tight game

02.04.25
CAS 2024/A/10638 Queens Park Rangers Football Club v. Boavista Futebol Clube

We might be here a while. I am now getting very familiar with CAS and here’s something from the FAQ…

How long does CAS arbitration last ?
The ordinary procedure lasts between 6 and 12 months.

For the appeals procedure, an award must be pronounced within three months after the transfer of the file to the Panel.

Now we need to find out when the file was transferred to the panel :emoticon-0121-angry

It's hard to work it all out but it seems that an appeal by Kenderesi regarding doping had a hearing in September 2024 and the decision came out in February. I may have this wrong and there could be other factors that mean Zambranos decision would come sooner.

I wonder where the original expectation of timescale comes from?

Will people stop replying to my post.
I see a new post and automatically think there must be some news somebody has posted.

But now I guess I'm doing the same to them

or not so by the looks of things. How the **** did they get away with it???? Silly me, more bank transfers!

They were in the Swiss Federal Court, nothing to do with CAS and though everyone knows those two were bent, it seems the prosecutors found it impossible to prove it (the case was over a specific €2m payment that Blatter arranged to be made to Platini).

Oi Baz. If you're reading, I'm really concerned about the threat of crowd trouble on Saturday. Can you write about it to warn people to behave? Mention the threat of the club facing vague sanctions too as a bit of clickbait.
