Does anyone know what's going on with the A63/M62 40mph zone?

Lasts for miles with only a short stretch of barriers missing and never see anyone working on it. Even then country A roads are 60mph with nothing between cars anyway!

Just find it so infuriating as it goes on so long for a reason I can't understand.

They only work on it through the night, but I’ve no idea why they’re keeping the whole thing as a 40 when half if it’s done already.

Yeah, it happens all over. Beverley to Willer y is another one. Rarely see anyone working. Everything seems to take an eternity and cost an absolute fortune.

Earlier this week HDM reported that the works were on schedule, hmmm, and due to end in May. :emoticon-0138-think

Cracking video.

It most certainly is Eammon on Carr Lane. I looked up for a full set of the photos, and found the following link.

It looks like a lifetime ago, yet it brings back a lot of memories.

There's a bit more about them on this link http://re-photo.co.uk/?p=11453

With the full set if you click the image below, but you may find yourself losing a fair bit of time once you start.

They keep repeating that more than 600,000 tons of contaminated waste, concrete and asbestos, has been removed from the site. Hmmm, The Humber Bridge in total has 480,000 tons of concrete in it ... :emoticon-0138-think

I never knew BHS sold that sort of stuff. Are they linked to Arco?

The Humber Bridge has only two towers made of concrete, the rest of it's metal.
