Woah im surprised to see forest green in conference
I swore last time i looked they were in league one with some new amazing stadium being built etc

How many clubs has Fleming been on loan at? Must be easier to just cut ties if he’s not at the clubs level after all these years. Almost at Cullen

We gave him a mega long contract the other year
So we are stuck unless someone buys

With the Puerta thing, I wonder whether both possibilities can be true, as in he is not yet close to the limit for the fee being activated, but still being held back because of it. Possibly as Selles has plenty of options at the minute, but may need to play him if any injuries occur.

I think it's known that he is quite close. It was something like 5 more games that was quoted by Baz Cooper I think.

But it is also a fact that he has only stopped playing as much since Crooks and Matazo arrived and those two pushing him down the pecking order is the most obvious explanation.

How? He was absolutely bang in form and by some way our best performing central midfielder, how can every other player still be getting minutes if that was the case? He’s not even come off the bench.

Crooks and Matazo don’t even seem to be fully fit. Considering Puerta’s form, Sellés can’t think that little of him he doesn’t get on at all, even as just a fresh pair of legs.

Fair enough. Baz' latest

Fair enough. Baz' latest quote of 'some way off' suggested that it might be more than 5.

I just don't think that's the case. He was in form, but people weren't raving about him the way they are now that he's not playing. There was never any indication that he was ahead of Slater in the pecking order, and Crooks and Matazo weren't here so it was just never a question until recently.

We're not winning games and he's not even getting a chance off the bench. I've not seen many raving about him, more suggesting that he was in form, like you said, and should be given the opportunity to play.

I think it's a bit of bullshit on Baz's side to be honest because he has the plausible deniability to lean on.

Puerta has played 19 league games and 1 cup game, so to trigger the clause he either has to play 4 more or 5 more (given he didn't play in the Carabao Cup embarrassment).

There's been no reason to drop him, even with the new arrivals.

He'll magically appear in the team again at the end of March once the new financial year is about to start, assuming that's when FFP kicks in for next season.
