I used to take the kids. They loved it a few years back. The Yanks really know how to put on a show. Everything is big and brash and in your face. It's no surprise it is a worldwide phenomenon.

I followed it when the Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan were in their prime.

Just been watching a bit of snooker; Trump v Wilson.

Quite a few people in the audience with bad chests.
If you can't stop yourself coughing every few seconds you should consider leaving the room in my view. Trying to stifle it isn't helping anyone.

I'm not a rugby fan, but the Six Nations is a fantastic tournament. Not just the players, the fans, who get pi55ed and enjoy themselves without any trouble before during or after the game.

It’s deplorable that the BBC has lost the TV rights to the Six Nations from next year.

Bill McClaren must be turning in his grave.

When you think that in recent years the BBC has lost TV rights to -

    The Masters
    The Open
    The Derby
    Royal Ascot
    The Grand National
    The FA Cup final
    Live Formula One
    Test Match Cricket
    World Championship Darts

and now the Rugby Six Nations, there are legitimate questions to be asked about the future of the BBC as a publicly financed model.

They have basically given up on covering live sport a certain demographic in this country (working class English men) enjoyed watching for decades.

    I wonder why :emoticon-0132-envy:

Enjoying India v England this morning, but the Indian commentators and cricket media / ex players are becoming a joke. They are ridiculously fanatical and one eyed. There’s not even a hint of impartiality, which is always necessary.

Ex-players aren't always the best commentators. Think John Arlott, who was a poet, and Brian Johnson. Or David Coleman and Brian Moore. TBF Richie Benaud was class.

You will never beat TMS at its peak.

A unique collection of world class broadcasters, all on one unique slot.

Jim Swanton, John Arlott, Brian Johnson, Fred Trueman, CMJ, Don Mosey, Trevor Bailey, Vic Marks. A true Golden Era of broadcasting.

I don’t think it’s being “anti woke” to suggest the TMS of 2025 is a pathetic, 1/10 imitation of that Golden Era. It’s undeniable.

There was a very heated exchange on Talksport this morning between Alan Brazil and the female presenter.

The presenter was as usual trying to conflate male & female football in a conversation about when Man Utd will next win silverware.

Alan Brazil politely interrupted her “with all due respect nobody cares when Man Utd women win the league”. The female presenter had a meltdown on air and was reduced to calling Brazil a dinosaur.

Well done Alan Brazil <applause> for finally being the first in the media to call out this nonsense, and have the courage to say live on air what so many are thinking.

Kent Walton was a genius. He managed to make the wrestling sound convincing, some achievement. In other sports you had Murray Walker, Bill McLaren, 'Arry Carpenter, Peter Alliss and Tom Scott.

If the situation had been reversed, and Alan Brazil had called the female presenter a name, he would have been taken off air immediately and dismissed.

What make his intervention even more impressive was the calm way he did it. He refused to be provoked and just rationally set out that a measure of Man Utd’s success will have nothing to do with how their women’s team fare.

“People don’t care about women’s football Shebana” <applause>
