I'm depressed by the amount of conspiracy theories being aired about Tyson Fury losing to Usyk again.
"Something isn't right" some people are saying on the radio, and on social media I expect.

The only thing that isn't right is that those people didn't get the result they wanted.
This is a disheartening trend these days.
An increasing number of folk seem to be lacking the emotional maturity to accept a decision or an outcome that they don't like.
So they invent, without any supporting evidence, dark and vague theories about something dishonest going on behind the scenes.
Somehow this seems to make them personally feel better.

But they totally disregard the corrosive effects that their delusions have on wider society.
Before long, nobody will trust anything that they are told.

    PS:

Delusions and conspiracy theories do not apply to the way most Charlton fans feel about the current SMT.
There is a wealth of evidence gathered over a long time that they are a bunch of shysters who don't know what they are doing, and are stealing their salaries.
It's the handful of fans who defend them that are suffering - from Stockholm Syndrome.

I watched the fight and it was absolutely crap - Mike Tyson back in the day would of knocked them both out in the first round

It was very poor. Both vastly overrated fighters. A prime Lennox Lewis would have dismantled both within three rounds.

    Dubois is the future.

As for the undercard, there is no way David Allen lost to Johnny Fisher. Utter nonsense.

    It's the WWE nowadays, Elfs.

I've seen it live a few times at the 02 and Wembley Arena. It's a rather impressive spectacle. Very American, but in a good way.

I watched the fight again and I think Usyk just won it but not on the margin that the judges had it. A lot of Fury’s punches were landing on usyk’s gloves.

Tyson Fury has retired again :emoticon-0165-muscl

Fortunately for AJ. He would have got his head knocked clean off :emoticon-0146-punch

Boxing is a circus, I take the WWF and women's football more seriously.

WWF is theatre I think, rather than sport.
I assume you cannot bet on WWF (WWE, whatever) for that reason - that the outcome is predetermined.

I was too young to gamble when the old World of Sport wrestling was on TV, but I assume there was no betting on that either.

I would have been about 8 and remember watching the wrestling on World of Sport. It was fantastic seeing the old girls ringside trying to hit the baddies with their handbags<laugh>

    It's WWE these days, Lardi.

I've seen it live a few times and those guys (and gals) are seemingly made of iron. They genuinely crack, smack and whack each other with no holds barred. The way they hit the canvass and ropes can't be good for their internal organs, meaning they literally put their lives on the line for the sake of entertainment. Staged or not, it makes for a fantastic spectacle.
