The PCB has worked with the groundsman to produce pitches they think gives their struggling team the best chance of a result.

The beauty of Test cricket played over a full 5 days with no weather interruptions is that the best side invariably has the time to come out on top.

As for the low attendances, Multan is the agricultural centre of the country. The locals will be out working all day.

For all it’s current travails, Pakistan is a still a great cricketing country, and I’d much rather watch them back playing their home tests at home, rather than in the UAE, as they were forced to for years.
 
According to Michael Atherton on Sky just now, they are planning to use the same pitch tomorrow as in the First Test <yikes>
 
What a dreadful performance in Pakistan.

Heading for a series defeat, against the most out of form side in the World.

Stokes is no longer a good enough player to be skipper, and as for Crawley & Pope …
 
Joe Marler's tweet that The Haka should be binned is an example of how social media gets things blown up out of all proportion. If he'd said it in conversation no-one would have turned a hair but now it's big news. Even giving a "like" to something can get you in trouble years later, because there are so many amateur sleuths around. I have no objection to the Haka, England could do some Morris Dancing, Scotland could do a Highland Fling before games. That would provide some entertainment.

You know the rules - you can’t mock any nationality these days … apart from the English.
 
Blimey.
The Haka is a bit of colour and entertainment. A nice touch to add to a sporting occasion.
Any team facing it should be proud. It shows respect to a worthy opponent.

How can anybody get upset about it? Surely life is too short.
 
I have always enjoyed watching the Haka. It is part of New Zealand's heritage. Now the thought of 6 feet 5 rugby players Morris dancing would be a spectacle I could do without.

Not me.

Can't say I'm overly bothered either way, but the overblown circus surrounding these fights is annoying in my view.
Hopefully Usyk will punch Fury's lights out, so we won't have to put up with :emoticon-0164-cash: FURY v USYK III :emoticon-0164-cash:

All the fanfares, crowd noise, silly shirts etc.
Once it was natural and generated by the fans. Now it looks forced and contrived to me. A bit like all the fanfare and nonsense surrounding Big American sports events. Rather tiresome.
