The PCB has worked with the groundsman to produce pitches they think gives their struggling team the best chance of a result.
The beauty of Test cricket played over a full 5 days with no weather interruptions is that the best side invariably has the time to come out on top.
As for the low attendances, Multan is the agricultural centre of the country. The locals will be out working all day.
For all it’s current travails, Pakistan is a still a great cricketing country, and I’d much rather watch them back playing their home tests at home, rather than in the UAE, as they were forced to for years.
