3-0? That's a bit would've, should've, could've tho. If Lathe Late was playing instead of Forres? then there might have been a different outcome, however either Boro or the player wanted to move for big bucks and Whitaker isn't going to be the answer, I don't think Inacheo will be either but time will tell for them. They're even bigger problem is their defence and theyv'e only changed the goalkeeper.

Belated thanks to RTB for the thread.
Everything good I have to say about last night has already been said my many, so I won't repeat it all.
I'll just say, although through gritted teeth obviously, well played Boro who gave us a right good game, and I think they worried me, and felt more dangerous to us than at any time during 4 games against Sheffield and Burnley.
A standout for me was that despite the opposition playing well , the composure and coolness of these lads who just get on with their jobs unfazed , and confidence in each other is an absolue delight

Burnley is going to depend on the impact Edwards can have for me. If he's as good as some say - Le Fee levels - then it could go a very long way to turning their 0-0's into 1-0's (if Parker takes the handbrake off a little too).

Fancy Boro to take something of Sheff United.

Sheff haven’t got 3 goals in them.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but I thought Samed made a huge difference last night coming on to see the game out RLB trusts him For the first time RLB didn’t bring on another centre half to see the game out and we were a better team for it defended higher up the pitch looked comfortably Boro didn’t have any real chances last 10

Like you say, it's that double impact. I think, if offered it a lot of our fans would have taken four points from the last two games but way the it's ultimately been achieved is potentially far more beneficial for the rest of our season (maybe excluding the booing of the team at the end of Plymouth)

Been very underwhelmed with sheff Utd they bully weaker teams and get results but against the better teams they struggle we should have beat them comfortably at their place

I like him. There was a moment last night towards the end when Boro had a bit of pressure on us and he picked up a loose ball and whacked it into row Z....just what was needed.

Absolutely I was watching his passing doesn’t try to be clever just keeps it simple wins the ball and plays it short. Proper defensive mid

Not taking anything away from a great performance but I defo think we caught Boro at the right time. Few big players out injured for them and a few January incomings that I think will improve them as the season goes on. But you can see from last night why they both score and concede so many goals. Defensively last night I think they’re the worst team I’ve seen us play this season.

If you’re calling someone out perhaps you should quote them instead of just generalising ..

… Ive looked back and can’t see anything like ‘people denying the evidence.

in any case what does it matter when we should be enjoying a fantastic win instead of having a pop at people.

Im supposed to be the one who does that <whistle>

Hope Boro sort their defence out before the Sheff Utd game... They were a car crash last night....Ayling got ripped a new a-hole by Le Fee. We could do with the Smoggies getting something from this game...they need to if they want a chance of the play-offs

You could say the same about Sunderland TBF …

… players new to the club, injuries to key players, on the back of a poor result.

They just couldn’t cope when we started playing football.

If we can keep this intensity up till the end of the season and fingers crossed get something at Leeds... I am starting to believe top 2 is very attainable

Biggest problem they have with that signing, is the fact that Scott Parker is their manager!

Those balls are too high risk on the edge of our box. Dan received a few also and managed to evade the press. Benefit we get out. Negative they win ball edge of our box and allowed shot on target. CB should take control and make smarter choice. Cant put Jobe in trouble and not take some of responsibility.

I replied to them directly and you jumped in to question it.

    Anyway. Moving on. Massive win.
