Did they though? They’ve got Diaz, Gakpo, Jota and Nunez who can all play as the 9. I’d be surprised if they were holding onto him thinking he’d have any kind of impact this season tbh. Again I’m not really against the signing if it makes sense just don’t think he’s going to play much

When Jota got injured they were waiting to see the extent of the injury and if he was out for a long period they were going to keep Danns

He most definitely will, we are talking about a young forward that Liverpool have waited till the end of the window to send out. He's played in big games, high pressure games, helping Liverpool win a cup final and beating teams in the league and in Europe. He's not like a Mason Burstow type either.

I think he will get bullied by CB's had the odd couple appearances for Liverpool granted but most of his football has been 21s football. This season he has played 10 mins in premier league...18 mins in FA cup, 83 in champs league. We need someone who can make an instant impact and i dont think he will
