Id say signing Danns on loan is quite the coup for us. Slot himself said they would keep him until the very end of the window in case he was needed to play for the first team, thankfully they havent had any injuries and are letting him go on loan.

I mean come on, not many young players are getting into the Liverpool front line ahead of Salah, Diaz etc.

Would hope we have a big signing who will make an impact in starting 11 if Danns is coming in. Danns is underwhelming and will be expecting to play a big part in terms of game time. If he was the number one option i'd have preferred we threw Trey in

I think you're massively underestimating Danns here.

Liverpool, the current premier league leaders, were minded to keep him in case they needed him for their title chase

How is it’s underwhelming?

what you were expecting us to sign Salah?

By all accounts Trey is a good prospect but theres still a massive difference in the level between him and Danns. I'd say we maybe do need an instant impact player but with injured players coming back we already have a really strong 11.

Never mind their front line they’ve got Nunez, Jota and Chiesa on the bench

Exactly and they still considered keeping him at the club. Young Trey for all he looks good so far, isnt at that level and this lad can make a difference off the bench or even starting.

And as much as I like him and his improvement has been significant this season, Mayenda isn't getting Champions League minutes for Liverpool. Not yet.

Can’t get behind this Danns being underwhelming thing

we wanted a third choice striker and have got one that Liverpool didn’t even want to let leave. No bother

I think that’s the point though if he’s third choice how much of our budget are we using on his wages? If it’s nothing then fair enough but if we’re paying £10k a week for him to sit on the bench doesn’t seem to make much sense to me.

Start of the season absolutely but with only a few months left I feel like his impact will be limited. Hope I’m wrong though
