There's no way we're dropping our first choice striker who's scoring and has just signed a new contract ...

That's why Cannon, etc, didn't want too come imo and why we're chasing a PL loan.

Agree with this. These “proven strikers that cost a good fee” would have other options offering them a starting spot. Our two strikers are our joint top contributors. Makes more sense for a young pl loan with someone coming to compete

I understand that a bit more, fans bias for their own club and we hadn't been out of league 1 for very long. But to think Rigg would join them and it be a step up when they had just been relegated to league 1 ffs!

It's the age old conundrum of how football supporters quickly grow accustomed to something then want more ...
