Possibly.. There's a large number that are actively against anything significant ever happening.
In the end they decided they don't want to even try to be a different club. They're against change from pre match activities to 2 billion pound stadiums and more investment in the area.
It's their right people like what they like at the end of the day.
70k is a good start, there can always be further expansion 10/15/20k etc at a new stadium where as SJP is limited for the foreseeable future and possibly forever.

New stadium, Leazes pivot for me. Need a new ground, on land we can actually own as well. Plus we have issues with groundsharing that needs to be taken into serious consideration, can't be going to Murrayfield or Middlesborough for the next 2-3 years, fairly big losses in that time as well.

It's says just under 70k and it will cost 1. 2 billion, which puts it in the same category as the spurs stadium, and makes Evertons look like a wimpey home.
I hope this does go ahead. It's the best way for the club to make a genuine leap forward, rather than the banana steps the EPL / dirty six keep making us perform.
Just reading and we are talking 7 years before they'd ever play in this, even if its approved by PIF, and local planning permission is granted.
It would just be nice to get something like that announced officially, because it's a statement of real intent.
The training ground will be done and dusted long before that though, which is good.
