Mr Le Fee won't sign anything without his childhood preds so get moving with the delivery.

Same here, I really like Ballard and def prefer him staying but if we got a silly offer then signed Mepham for less that would be great business

Would need to sign another defender tho

It could be a player who has real ability but is developing in that instance. I'm a big believer in Seelt in the medium term. He was a much better performer than people gave him credit for (probably due to the climate at the time). To be fair I also think that Hjelde has promise that needs games to bring it out, though. Then there's Alese. Lots of players who could develop already at the club. Maybe not one single option that we'd feel confident stepping straight in, though. I would expect they'd bring one in if Ballard went due to that. Back to Ligue 1 we go I'd imagine!

We have some talent at CB, but I do like the physicality that Ballard brings that the others maybe don't do so I think that would need replacing

Think the Portsmouth game showed it a bit. Thought even Mepham was made uncomfortable with the challenge. If we want to bring in a player who is physical, fast but also can keep up with the ball at his feet I'd expect it will mean we need to go foreign and inexperienced.

Doesn’t matter about announcing him, just whether he’s registered.

Yeah, I like the look of Seelt at CB on the occasions we’ve seen of him. Reads the game well, mobile, good feet and attacks the aerial ball in both boxes very well.
We’ve got a lot to work with there.

The slightly boring reality of the ELF announcement is he’ll have trained this morning and they won’t have had time to do the photoshoot until after that. It’ll be announced late afternoon.

Aye I agree with that, though I also have some doubts about his decision making. We do miss his strength when he isn’t o. The field though.

I’ve chosen this transfer window to ignore anything that Fishpaste say’s.

He made a reet tit of himself on deadline day with that striker from Lyon.

Think Mepham may only sign if we go up, I'm not convinced by Ballard though. He seems to have a error in him

No matter what happens the rest of the season, I love where we are going as a club

Near enough ever player at our level will make mistakes or they'd be playing top end pl.

The problem for me with Ballard is the number of niggles he picks up that puts him out for periods of time. I absolutely wouldn't be against him going for a good fee that would secure Mepham, or a replacement this window who has the talent and robustness to play more often.
