Something tells me that Coyle might not be our first choice RB for much longer unless he gets his act together.
It would be good to get at least 3 in before Donny and chuck them straight into the team. Pedro, Puerta and Alzate could all do with putting their feet up for a break after the mad rush of games over Christmas.
With the obvious caveat of he may not actually be signing, where does Barry play? I've seen it mentioned that he's a left winger and a striker, anyone other than Chazz watched him and know his best position?
I really don’t get that. I’d have him as third best left back at City over that period, despite others been out of form. I just think he looks like a youth team player struggling to establish himself in a mens team. No strength and doesn’t have the necessary attributes going forward to compensate. Coyle and Giles both replaced him in different games and both looked a huge step up. Tin hat on.
I'd love him to succeed as a local lad, but early in the season he was absolutely awful. Will give him the benefit of doubt and put it down to The 'Tim' Effect! Sod the tin hat!
Giles has been garbage. If someone’s willing to actually pay us money for him we should snap their hand off.
What is it doing for the dressing room having a top earner being dropped for an academy kid? He's stealing a living here atm.
