His stats in Manchester United's PL2 team are remarkable, pretty much a goal a game**. I'm calling him the new Liam Delap. ** slight exaggeration
The thing I dread is Giles going to ‘Boro and then them playing us, as I could quite easily see him tearing Coyle a brand new arsehole with bells on!
Most if our ex or ‘rejected’ failed recruits tear us one when they play us again ! I hope other clubs experience the same !
Think at the time we signed him with the obligation we wouldn't have known that he wanted to be elsewhere, he was probably just desperate to get out of Luton and play. Personally I think it's disappointing from the player as much as anything. City have invested a lot in him in good faith.
Not to be negative but we signed bedia in the summer, he’s going back We signed giles in the summer on a reported 35k a week, now we need another LB We signed Dremeh in the summer, we are looking at a RB. Riccoppi signed in the summer, hers on his way. Yet we are trusting the same brain team to sign some of their replacements. Acun must have the patience of a saint because let’s be honest their success ratio isn’t ideal
I don't think we are looking at a RB. I think defensively it's a LB and CB. And it's not the same Brain team. Tan is no longer DOF and it's now Dublin, with a different head of recruitment also. The clubs been restructured since October and people wondering why Tan is no longer here just need to look at the summer window for the main reason, not so much rumours on Turkish Twitter.
Plus Selles wants a say in who we sign from the sound of things - wants to make sure they have the right character
Liam, Walter also had a say. The likes of Connolly and Ebiowe were very much Liam's recommendations, as was Mehlem with Walter. It's just the collective wisdom of fans on social media that decided it was all Acun playing football manager.
Racioppi is a unique one. He’d probably want to stick about if we didn’t go out our way to get a GK on loan
Completely agree with this. Forget the Chinese whispers on ****book and twatter. Tan ****ed up the summer window and has been held accountable.
Tan wasn't helped by managerial decisions making the club a tougher sell in summer. But there have been significant changes to both the recruitment team and in the dugout since then. And we're definitely going for a more pragmatic approach this January.
