You can't be serious about fatigue costing us in those two games ...
... we've only played 17 games and just had two international breaks.

Yeah I can. Fatigue leads to errors. Errors lead to goals against. Young players struggle to meet the robustness of the league. Rigg for example has been poor in those games and most of his misplaced passes and turn over of the ball has happened in last 20 mins. Millwall he ended up with 55% passing accuracy ffs. He was out on his feet.
So yeah, I am dead serious.
Think we need a number 10 style player and wingers.

There's no chance O'Nien can play at CB...oh, well there's no chance he can play at RB...oh, well there's no chance he'll be good enough for the championship...oh, well there's no chance he can play DM...
We can't buy like for like or anything close imo, £8/10m players aren't going to be signing for us in January. Would they be better than what we have at that price, I doubt it tbh.
And where do they come from ... failed in the PL, League One prospects, Europeans who may take months to settle in?
We currently have a squad we'd have no chance of affording now, some of whom have extended their contracts. Despite a few poor results, mistakes, etc, they all seem totally committed to the club. Perhaps I'm being naive but that team spirit is worth more than taking a chance on two or three replacements who may not fit in but who'd push some of our existing players back and perhaps knock their value.
I'm like everyone else and would love us to sign excellent new players, stay at the top and go up flying.
But the club have earned the right to do it their way imo ...
... let's be honest, we tried all the other ways and ended up in League One with a massive debt, dreadful squad and Charlie Methven running the show.

Funnily enough Scout, I thought Rigg was poor from the start, but excellent last half hour and our main threat if we were going to get a win.
As they say, it's all about opinions and I totally respect yours, I just seen his performance different from you last night
Some of the negativity on here is staggering, we are unbeaten in 10 and last lost a game on September 28th !!
We have to keep the faith with these lads, they are doing us proud, Sheff Utd will come at us on Friday which will be ideal for us, we will get chances and I reckon we will pick them off. Our defence is brilliant, they can keep them at bay no problem whilst our forwards will have more freedom than WBA allowed us.

Surely they can only become tougher and more experienced by playing, seems to be working for Jobe.
It's either that or just buy older players and hold the younger ones back for longer.
People, including yourself iirc, were recently asking for Watson to play ...
... all players, of every age, make mistakes and have poor games, it's not always their age to blame.
The whole team looked ragged at Millwall, and against Coventry, because they had to option but to throw everything at us.
It's a young squad, growing together, I doubt Rigg, Watson, Jobe, etc, want 'protecting' ...
... they want to play and, if we don't allow them to they'll start to want moves away.
Quite right, despite a tiring week ...

I saw the same. Last 30 he seemed to get on the ball more and in some good spaces. He wasnt at his best, his touch was a little off at times for me.
One thing we need to be wary about is players as young as him are still growing physically. Less so height, although they can still grow through to 18 and beyond, but certainly in terms of muscle mass. This can mean a period of adjustment physically and mentally. The staff will be right across that at the club. Much harder to track is the mental fatigue. I do believe younger players can suffer that more. So much being taken in, so much experience and knowledge being gained, sometimes the brain needs a rest. No idea if that is the case with Rigg, but I certainly see someone 5 or 10% off where he was a few weeks ago. Rigg is the best young player I have seen come through our setup. He has everything going for him. I think he will play at the very highest level. I hope he is a bit disappointed in his form, it is his dip for me, chance to learn. One thing I believe in is we learn more from a tough period than an easy one.
Most of his touches second half were right in front of where I sit, on the eighteen yard line. I agree with you he did get crowded out occasionally, and he should have done better with his chance on goal, but most of his play in the last half hour was exceptional. I remember saying to my brother in law, he's seventeen, he shouldn't be able to do things like that

When in recent times has Roberts scored or provided assists on a regular basis ? , a talented entertainer but frustrating player who dare I say it needs competition for his place in the team .
Seems abit silly when we're in such a good position for promotion to not just bite the bullet and bring in one or 2 big signings to get us over the finishing line.
We'll probably lose Jobe and possibly Rigg in the summer, Mepham will go back to Bournemouth, Isidor will also be back at his parent club and we'll have to build another Championship team capable of competing all over again.
Im guessing Cirkin, Ballard and Hume will have alot of interest too.
