We aren’t getting battered no, but in 4 of the 5 games we’ve drawn we’ve done nothing to deserve the win over our opponents. The Coventry game feels like a loss because of the position we were in but they hammered us second half. Only the game last night we were comfortably the better team.

That's a very fair assessment and one I agree with.

That assessment only comes because of our play style. We should’ve had 9 points in the last 3 games

Actually just watched the highlights back and we had more chances than I thought. The highlights have missed out a couple of chances from Rigg and Bellingham too.

maybe we weren’t as bad as I thought
Sky referred to Jobe as Bellingham all game has he reverted to using his full name as I forgot to look at the name on his shirt.
If he hasn’t think Sky are being disrespectful to the lad which isn’t a surprise as I rarely have the volume up louder then needs be to follow the bits the cameras don’t show if that makes sense.

Just don’t buy that to be honest mate. More often than not we’ve came flying out of the blocks and create some chances early doors then seem to fizzle out as the game goes on. A match is 90 minutes, not just the first half. We can’t expect to concede possession, create less chances than our opponents, have less shots, less corners etc every game and consider ourselves to be the better team who should’ve won. The second half of the Millwall game they had 70% possession - they had more possession than we completed passes (66). They had 9 corners to our 0. 5 shots on target to our 1. How anyone can argue that’s us deserving a win is baffling, it’s a game of two halves just like Coventry was. It’s only because we conceded so late we felt hard done by.

It’s football

they pushed us back went 442 and went long

it’s our game plan to sit in and counter when we don’t need another goal and it works

There’s a train of thought that Dan Neil is only playing CDM because we have no one else for that role …

… if we buy someone, in January, who would we drop for Neil, Jobe or Rigg?

Rigg. Only because I think Neil’s best position is the 8 and Rigg shouldn’t be playing every match. Having a proper 6 alongside Neil being the energy in the middle and Jobe the playmaker would be great balance. Rigg has that special something that Neil doesn’t, I’m not saying Neil is better whatsoever by the way.. just Rigg is still very young. He’d be a great player to rotate with Jobe and Neil, or giving him the last half hour every game. But now we’ve started him most weeks I think they’ll leave him in otherwise it’ll upset the camp.

…that just won’t happen, Jobe plays every minute possible no matter what.

I mean more rotate coming as on a sub mate, he can play both positions so getting him last 20 for one of them would make more sense than starting every week imo.
