I've noticed how the club seem to be more active on socials now, in pushing our identity etc.

They seem to be affiliated with the likes of rising ballers and sport bible now. Also this KLD interview and KS the other week.

KLD has been very clever with all this, as you'd imagine.

He's gradually reducing the ways people can attack the club with the academy, stadium, merchandising, etc. It must be frustrating for those who wanted him, Speakman, the coaches, etc, to 'be sacked'.

I expect they'll be saying, 'No one's happier than me to be proved wrong' ...

... before looking for other things to moan about.

There will definitely be a Bruce influence/input in regards to this.

This made me smile, we like a lot of clubs seem to have some fans who are never happier than when they have something to complain about. It seems they forget what the word fan is all about.
The hardest thing to get in football is also one of the most important things TIME.

Willem Dafoe in Platoon was less dramatic.

When we were daft pit village kids we’d entertain ourselves however we could, we didn’t even have tellies …

… one of our most pointless games was ‘best falls’ whereby you’d have to nominate how you’d be killed in a solo attack on an enemy bunker.

I’d often opt for a sniper’s rifle and a bullet through my heart ,,,

… I was good but this fella would’ve given me some stiff competition <laugh>

Just reading back - there's a few on here should be feeling a tad embarrassed about their reactions to RLB. Anyway, onward and upward. Always give them time to prove themselves, and this one, quite frankly looks like a very good appointment indeed.

some probs wont admit they are wrong, they will wait for it to go wrong to come out of their caves to say I told yous so.

Enjoyed that, thanks for posting it mate.

Regarding the last line: All he needs now to cement his status is to learn what “Régis, give us a wave” means!

I'll bet that Le Bris understands very well but shrewdly ignores it to focus on the game. Setting another good example to the team.
I love how understated and reserved he is.

I'm not sure I could abide a head coach that indulges in over the top touchline histrionics and stealing of the lime light from the players. One of my biggest football turn offs is the head coaches cheer leading the crowd after a win a la Russell Martin, Danny Rohl (despite him being my first choice for our next head coach at the start of the summer) et al.

Eventually got round to reading all of this. We've found a really good one in Le Bris. KLD has hit the jackpot twice in appointing a head coach that's excellent on the training pitch but also wants to leave everything else to the appropriate part of the club. No discord or pulling in different directions.

Lovely that we have moved to 3 points, then 5 points clear at the top since that article was published.
