I thought international loans had to contain an option to buy, presume this has changed, you know when ot changed?
Of course. However signing a play in August to not play till Jan , on a player we don't have an option on, is a bit bizzare.
You probably don't attract a Champions League and former Ligue 1 team of the season player to the Championship unless you're willing to take that gamble over other teams.
Of course. No good not playing though irrespective of talent. Anyway. Let's hope he gets fit asap and we can see some of this talent.
It may turn out to be due to bad luck, at the time it looked a great signing and I was (still am) excited to see him play. Can't blame the club for an unfortunate injury prognosis
There is actually massive doubt about that . . . . mainly 'cos what you're saying is probably completely (100%) wrong I don't understand why you've decided to be so negative, with what seems to be an aim to encourage others to think similarly, about this, when your opinion (in my opinion) can only be based on a hunch
Sorry mate. I don't think it's negative to say we sign a play in August and for him not to play till January, that's not negative. It's just a poor outcome.
He could be. Just think that we shouldn't be signing injured players because as it's played out, you really can not know for certain when they will be fully over it.
I tend to agree. It is not what anybody must have expected. I knew he was injured when we signed him, but didnt he suffer a setback here? In reality though a loan player who cannot play for en extended period of time is a poor outcome for the squad. The upside must be his experience should mean he aclimatises to the championship and how we ay quickly. Therefore once fit enough physically he should be able to contribute if he is good enough to force his way into the team. Personally though, if he is still not ready in early Jan I would be tempted to call it a day and get someone in who is fit and ready.
Salis will be sick of meetings and sessions about how RLB wants us to play. Bet he can’t wait to get on the pitch.
He had an injury but was going to get over it but then he kicked a ball in training and felt pain where the injury was so they are being careful it doesn’t aggrevate again by the sounds
You've literally just made that up, though. RLB said he will be back after the next international break, that means he could play as many as 9 games for us before the January window opens. I also don't really understand why you're so determined to use an unlcuky injury as a stick to beat the club with. It was a good signing, based on the facts available at the time. I'm pretty sure folk on here were unanimously excited about it. He's had an unfortunate injury setback, it happens. Not the club's fault that they couldn't predict the future, and I'm not sure why you seem to want to intimate that it is?
We signed him in a position we have lots of options. If he takes a while so be it. He is a high calibre player and worth the gamble.
