I wouldn't go anywhere near Henderson as a player now. Waste of time. We press and move quickly. His days are long long gone of doing that.

Plus he chased the bag in Saudi.

No.
Agreed

Have you watched him recently? People are saying he doesn't walk back into the team based on how he's played the last 18 months, he isn't the same player he was at Liverpool

I remember last yr loads kept saying how we should be going for m'vila because he is class - even though folk hadn't watched him for yrs. He went to WBA n was shocking as his legs had gone - you need to be able to get about the pitch in the championship

Now I'm not totally against Henderson coming in but not if we have 6 other 1st team CMs at the club n I also don't think he's going to be as good as some think for us
I’ll trust the judgment of the staff at the club. If he comes back to us as a player then he comes back. I’ve said my piece about him in the other thread. I wouldn’t be impressed but to be honest I don’t think JH would care about what I think.

…I’m sure he’d care about the 40,000+ in attendance at the SoL though and would he receive stick like he did at Wembley for England? Probably.

As you know, I knew a fair few people back in the day when JH was at our club. Still in touch with them. Word is, he's coming back and would have already been but for KS. The last bit is fairly well known.

So does imply that KS is not pushing for him to come back to the club?

So what's changed? If he would have been back but for KS why would he now be in his way back when KS is still here?

Yep, if Speakman doesn't want him I don't want him. Mad to me there are still people out there not trusting his judgement
We seem to love the idea of people coming back, chased Phillips years ago, begging advocaat to come back, the Defoe fiasco, Keane every time we look for a manager, people were even mentioning Poyet ffs, need to look forwards not back for me, hell of a player and he’s had a hell of a career, proud he came through our academy but it’s in the past leave it there and move on with the talented lads we already have

I don’t want JH back either but I also don’t want him to go to another Championship Club, especially one of our promotion rivals.
A Premiership Club would be OK, Ipswich perhaps.
