So can we count on your vote in 5 years time?
I’ll be voting Likud probably. I’ve got a very nice pro-Israel Labour MP and it’s a mega safe seat anyway.

he did an opinion piece in the Telegraph this week which was wonderfully hysterical anti Iran .You must log in or register to see media
All is forgiven. Get him in.
No US president will abondon Israel because of the influence of the Jewish lobby and these days the religious right . Most that will happen would be a bit of rhetoric and possibly some pressure to actually decide genocide isn't a good look .
35 of which were children, no number given for women yet but where children are women are usually close.SKY News crew stuck with thousands of people trying to flee south Lebanon, seven hours just to travel 15km. Israeli strikes killed 492 people and a field commander, Israel says it has taken out tens of thousands of rockets in strikes, US to send a small number of additional troops to the Middle East. No confirmation of another senior commander being killed.

People in Belfast harboured IRA men, can you imagine the **** storm if we had bombed the **** out of Belfast?I just don't get why Palestinian people (or Lebanese) are allowing terrorists to live within their homes, surely if anything was learned by now after months of war is that Israel will strike anything that harbours them. Would you allow a terrorist to hide in your home and put your kids at risk, at what point do the civilians stand up for themsleves and drive those that hide behind them out?

Civilised countries just don't do that ****.
No, it happened and squaddies were punished for it.But British troops did open fire on and kill civilians, unless I'm remembering my history wrong?

The civilians are just cannon fodder and acceptable casualties in this conflict, Hamas do not care how many of their people die just so long as they kill some jews
If the Hamas fighters were told they could not stay they would probably just shoot the families themselves and then blame it on the jews
I agree with much of that but will repeat my original question, what would have been the reaction if we had just bombed the **** out of Belfast with no regard to civillian life? Were they, I thought they were struggling to bring justice for those that required it in Ireland, either way they still killed civilians. Plus I'm sure the British Government or it's agencies arranged hits as well. The British were certainly no innocent in some of the events that happened. Plus it was a lad we had forced our way onto without the agreement of half of the Irish people, ie we were not welcome.

You should know better than that.Families of those who died in Northern Ireland famously got swift justice. Ffs.
Are you telling me that the Israili army were/are incapable of going into Gaza and sealing the tunnels then rooting out the hamas fighters left in the city?I don't think you can compare the two, two completely different regions where the logistics between peace and fighting are completely different as a land battle.

This is/was a sealed city which is very hard to escape from when locked down so in effect the hamas fighters were locked in
